Saturday is for the Sully!

The final round of the TVL season is here! 🏏

All five XIs are in action for one last push this summer. We are closing things out with a packed house at home as the 1st XI and 4th XI take on Purley on Thames and Falkland at Sully.

Meanwhile, the 2nd XI, 3rd XI, and 5th XI hit the road for away trips against Farley Hill and Fleet.

Let’s finish the season on a high, empty the tank, and get some big results across the board to wrap up the year. Good luck to everyone representing the tree today! 🌲💪

Saturday is for the Sully! 🏏🌳

The TVL season continues with five XIs playing this weekend. We have a packed house at home with the 2s, 3s, and 5s all enjoying the home advantage, while the 1s and 4s hit the road looking for big results.

Let’s get some strong performances across the board. Good luck to everyone swimming (playing cricket) tomorrow! 🌲🌧️

Two special performances in our 4XI on Saturday!

In a comprehensive win over Mortimer & West End 2XI, a fabulous spell of bowling from young Ben Baker restricted MWE to 203-9, with Ben achieving a magnificent 6-fer, with figures of 6-39! Well bowled Ben!

In the chase, experienced opener Sartaj Singh carried his bat, scoring 104* (116), leading the team to an 8-wicket victory.

An excellent result which secured the teams place at the top of Division 8a, 30 points clear of 2nd place!

Railway Pavilion Extension Approved!

We are thrilled to announce that we have officially secured planning permission to extend the Railway pavilion on our second pitch. The committee has green-lit the project, and building will commence this winter to ensure the new facilities are ready for the start of the 2027 season.

This upgrade is a major step in our commitment to providing some of the best playing facilities in Berkshire for cricketers of all levels. The newly extended pavilion will feature:
- Two larger team changing rooms with showers
- Internal toilets
- A dedicated second-gender/officials changing room
- A new refreshment area

These improved facilities will greatly enhance the matchday experience and further support our ongoing partnerships and shared ground usage with Bradfield College, Berkshire Girls, and St Edward’s School.

Finally, a massive thank you to Bill MacDonald for his tremendous effort and patience in getting the planning phase over the line. Bill will continue to oversee the implementation phase, but he will need plenty of help from our community to bring this project to fruition.

Spaces left for MNR Coaching Cricket Summer Holiday Camps

We are looking forward to hosting the holiday camps across the summer holidays at the club. We do still have quite a lot of space for each of the following dates:

W2 - Wednesday 19th and Thursday 20th August

W3 - Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th August

If you would like to join us please access registration through the attached flyer and sign-up for the required dates. We will be making a final call on the viability of next week's camp on Friday 14th August so if you can make it and would like to join us please do not delay in booking your child/children on.

Please do share the word to friends etc as it would be great to see as many at the club as possible, a reminder that there is an exclusive discount for club members using the code CLUB20 to gain 20% each booking.
