You Don’t Need Just any Gym. You Need a Place That Actually Gets You 🙋‍♀️

Let’s be honest…

Most gyms feel like walking into a nightclub you weren’t invited to. (showing our age?)😆

Everyone seems to know what they’re doing, the machines are intimidating, and you’re left thinking,

"Is it just me who doesn’t belong here?"

It’s not just you. And it shouldn’t feel that way. Ever.

We created this space because we were tired of seeing women feel left out, judged, sent to the cardio section, confused about what is important, or simply unsupported when it comes to training and looking after themselves.

This isn’t about chasing perfection.
It’s not about six packs or smashing PBs every week (though we’ll definitely celebrate with you when you do!).

It’s about training in a way that’s safe, effective, backed by science—but also works in your real life.

💛It’s about learning to move in a way that feels good and helps you feel in control of your body.

💛 It’s about building habits that support you through all the things life throws your way—new jobs, heartbreaks, babies, big birthdays, weddings, funerals, hormone swings, sleepless nights, and everything in between.

💛 It’s about having a place where your wins are seen—whether it’s your first full push-up, turning up consistently, or just feeling like yourself again.

👉 We are real women, showing up for other real women.

Busy, brilliant, tired, hopeful, figuring-it-out-as-we-go women.

Strong women’s club is excited to launch our transformative event, delving into the crucial connection between hormones, exercise, and lifelong health.

We are offering evidence based insights into the benefits of exercise and impacts of hormones on women’s lives.

This time we are joined by Dr Shilpa Mcqullian from Berkshire Menopause Clinic covering women’s hormones from puberty to menopause. We will discuss topics such as PMDD and endometriosis.

Maria Foster Therapies will provide an insight to mental health and hormones and how we can support ourselves as we approach difficult stages of life and dealing with deeper emotional health.

SWC Natalie Higkey and Nicky Stevens will discuss women in exercise:

👉🏻Breast health while exercising

👉🏻Why our young girls are more prone to ACL injuries in puberty and what we can do to support them.

👉🏻Why SWC specifically focus on strength training for women.

👉🏻 Food and nourishment for women at peri meno and menopause life stages.

✨The Strong Womens Club is expanding its class offering! ✨

Our team is key to our success, providing a warm and welcoming fitness experience like no other.

We are excited to invite applications from Pilates Teachers who have passion for supporting Womens Health and Wellness.

It’s a chance to be part of something special and work with our incredible community of women.

Job requirements & opportunities:
➡️ Level 3 + Mat Pilates
➡️ Good Knowledge of anatomy, especially postural issues.
➡️ Ability to tailor classes to suit a wide range of different needs and abilities.
➡️ Can commit to weekly scheduled classes.

We are looking for someone who will bring their own personality, experience and skills to small group mat sessions.

Great coaching is at the heart of everything we do. We want to welcome somebody who can complement our existing team and enhance our client experience.

Within this role you can expect opportunities for shared CPD and knowledge around training women.

As a coach with SWC you will work with individuals providing 1:1 personal training, 4:1 small group coaching, health and wellness guidance within our Caversham club.

Job requirements & opportunities:
➡️ REPS Level 3 + Personal Trainers or equivalent with experience of providing 1:1 personal training or small group training. We are looking for someone who will bring their own personality, experience and skills.
➡️ REPS Level 2 minimum. We are offering a great opportunity to join our team and build your knowledge in a rewarding environment.
