FRESHERS - FAQ

Can I just turn up to a taster session?
• Due to various restrictions surrounding COVID you cannot just turn up to a taster session. Our sign up will go live on the day of the Freshers Fayre (October 15th) - if this does not take place physically the links to the sign up will go on the relevant Facebook event - like our page, University of Reading Lacrosse Club for more info!

There is a 30 person limit on each taster session. You will get an email confirmation telling you which taster session you are signed up for - if it is different to the one you initially signed up for this will be because it has hit the maximum capacity and you will be assigned a different date!

How do I join?
• Attend one of our three taster sessions throughout October. From this you will be invited to the development training sessions, however this will be on a first come first serve basis due to the 30 maximum capacity.

Can't wait to see you all there,
Lax love xx

For the first time, in the history of the club, the women's 1st team has been promoted to the premiership division.

This year the ladies squad consisted of 11-14 players, with only half of the squad having played lacrosse before university.

This marks 2 promotions in 3 years, a first for the club. This is the first time we have ever had a team playing at the premiership level. Well done to every member of the team that fought for this, this has been a long time in the making.

Out going programme president, Suzanna Battishill has said:

"I am so incredibly proud of the achievements of the women’s 1st team, this is an unprecedented result and I look forward to seeing their growth over the coming years!"
