A great day of competition at the Hokori No Kata Taikai Championships on Saturday 20th July.

England and Wales kata teams took to the mats at an excellent event, well organised and packed with talent from a wide range of organisations. Opportunities like this are invaluable—different styles, different approaches, and plenty of experience gained on the mats.

Team GB success in Spain 🇪🇸 🇬🇧

After weeks of solid preparation, it was a strong day for United Team GB at the 2nd KWF World Cup in Spain.

The team showed great spirit, resilience and determination throughout the day, producing some excellent performances against high-quality international opposition.

There were victories to celebrate, lessons to learn, and valuable international experience gained. Most importantly, every athlete stepped onto the tatami and gave their all.

Thank you to the coaches, supporters and families who helped make the journey possible.

Meet the GB coaches behind our U21, Cadet and Junior programme.

They bring years of international and national competition experience, as fighters who’ve earned their results on the mat. Alongside that, they carry serious strength and conditioning expertise, meaning athletes are developed technically, tactically and physically.

What drives them goes deeper than medals, it’s about giving young fighters an understanding of competitive Kyokushin Knockdown and the tools to grow as people along the way.

Dedicated, experienced and constantly pushing the team forward. We’re proud to have them leading the next generation.
