Welcome to Woodley Goju Ryu Karate Club. Karate is a Japanese martial art of self defense which translates to ‘empty hands’ and implies weapon less self defense. Karate will help improve self confidence, focus and concentration. Fitness levels will increase along with stamina, strength, co-ordination and balance. Karate gives a positive attitude towards life, learn respect for yourself and others and most of all learn how to defend yourself, friends and family.

An unforgettable start at the GKI (Goju Ryu Karate International) Instructors Gasshuku 🙏

Day 1 of 3 and already an incredible experience. Grateful for the opportunity to train under the exceptional guidance of Shihan James Rousseau. His knowledge, discipline, and dedication to the true spirit of Goju Ryu are truly inspiring.

If this is just the beginning, the next two days promise even more growth, learning, and challenge on the tatami.
