CLTC got quizzy with it last night and packed the clubhouse to battle their brains and wits against each other. Questions expertly set by Melvyn Hayden included everything from recognising the D***x slogan (helping people come together) to how long it takes to walk from the club to Spill bar via Albert Road (31 minutes!). We even discovered who at our club smashed Tim Henman in a Juniors tournament many years ago (Ross Tulloch) and who performed a snooker trick shot in front of an audience with the late great John Virgo (me! ). A gorgeous selection of wines, beers, and Aperol Spritzes sealed off a wonderful evening. And guess what. Someone actually won the 'higher or lower' game! Well done to Ellen for bagging the bag!

Look out for another quiz night in the coming months.
