We would love to introduce you to Aikido at a free, no-obligation session. Our traditional Aikido dojo in Caversham is currently welcoming new members.
Aikido is an exciting Japanese martial art, based on learning ways of using and moving your body to maximise your efficiency and power, while developing a deep understanding of how your body works and how your power can be used most effectively. We train in throws, joint locks, the wooden sword and the staff, with an emphasis on evading, absorbing and redirecting an attack, rather than trying to block it.
We train on Tuesdays 20:00-22:00 at Caversham Heights Methodist Church Hall, 74 Highmoor Road, Caversham, Reading RG4 7BG
