Sifu Jon Abdey started his martial arts training at 4 years old studying Judo through to his early teens. In 2000 he was fortunate enough to meet Grandmaster Wan Kam Leung on a trip to Hong Kong and was so impressed with his style of Practical Wing Chun he decided to remain in Hong Kong and learn the entire system. Six years later he was granted his teachers certificate and has bee

n teaching Practical Wing Chun in Reading ever since. He is the first instructor in the UK authorised to teach Practical Wing Chun and also serves as regional director for Practical Wing Chun. He learnt the entire system in Hong Kong directly from Sigung Wan Kam Leung.
