🥂Happy 2023 to all our very Special Family, Extended Edwards family 💍 special friends and loyal clients🥂

Last year took some unexpected turns in our life’s which will undoubtedly bring some new challenges in the new year ahead 💪 However we know with all the amazing people we have in our life’s we will easily be able to over come anything to strive forward.

Over the past years I have created two successful businesses, Ufton Equestrian livery and competition yard and Wheel and Hoof Horsebox hire. Which continue to go from strength to strength 👏🎉

🤩 So this is our opportunity to say a huge thank you for all the support from all our wonderful, loyal clients and to all those new ones we look forward to meeting in the future.

And of course a huge thank you for the love shared and support from all our family and friends 😍

Exciting times ahead 👏❤️wishing you all lots of happiness, good health and wealth for 2023 🥂

Kathy, Charlie and Harriette 😘

🎉⭐️ A Long awaited Up Date 🏆🐴

Lots has been happening this summer at Ufton Equestrian with very little time to stop and post all the amazing achievements everyone has made, so here goes.

After Neil Brandwood buying his new horse Madam Micklow aka Lizzie they only had a couple of weeks to get themselves qualified for The Dobson and Horrell Amateur Championships. It can take months to get use to a new ride but they hit it off straight away and qualified for all three second round qualifiers in their first shows out, the 85cm, 95cm and the 1.05cm winning lots of rosettes and 💰 along the way.
Sadly Neil had a little set back with a spell in hospital (not horse related) which cut his chances down for the second round qualifiers only having a chance to jump a couple of them, HOWEVER jumping a lovely double clear and winning 7th place at Keysoe international qualified them through in the 95cm 💪🍾
WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST OF NEXT WEEK AT AINTREE AT THE CHAMPIONSHIP - Bring it home 🏆

🐴 Not to be out done by her Dad Becki Brandwood qualified both her ponies for The Sunshine tour at Hickstead.
So a 4o’clock start saw Caroline, Becki and I travelling to Hickstead for what turned out to be a very successful day getting a double clear on both ponies BUT A fantastically fast time and some brilliant turns jumped Becki and Rosie into 7th place out of over 50 starters. Becki enjoyed riding her first ever lap of honour at prize giving , Big smiles all round 😀👏🎉 WELL DONE BECKI, can’t wait for next year 👍🐴😀

New arrivals Lara and her family joined the yard with Lara taking the ride of Ron. Coming from a riding school back ground Lara wanted to learn how to look after her own pony and step up to doing more competitions ( particularly jumping) So she’s come to the right place 👍👏 After lots of training we set out to Lara’s first jumping competition on Ron at Checkendon equestrian where they jumped double clear in both their competitions winning rosettes for 2nd and 4th place. Inspired on, a couple of weeks later brought home Lara and Ron a win, 1st place with a quick round and lovely turns for a red rosette 🥇🏆 WELL DONE exciting times ahead 😀

At the end of the summer Harriette and Merlijn jumped their first international with some good placings and rounds. Then a couple of weeks later at The Welsh Masters in the 1.15m also saw Harriette and Merlijn in a lap of honour in the final winning 4th place out of a strong 50 starters and a hard weeks jumping to qualify through 💪👏🎉🍾 However after Harriette’s final jump off I nearly ended up joining Neil in hospital with a heart attack, next time please warn me of your game plan 🤣🤣 Those who know Harriette know she loves a good jump off and her motto is “ If your not giving your mother a heart attack, your not doing it properly” 😜

Charlie has been working as hard 💪 as ever backing and bringing on youngsters behind the scenes for our future super stars and it won’t be long now before we see the first ones start to roll out. Such important work that never gets enough credit ❤️ A good start is the best start and lots and lots of patience and time is spent working with them before getting them to the ring. Can’t wait so exciting 🥰

This year also saw a new born c**t, Billy Congo x Escape z he is growing fast and is so bold can’t wait to see him grow into a super star - His name registered name “Escape to the Congo” 🥰

And just because we don’t have enough to keep us busy 😅 Nigel and I decided to expand on our business and buy Wheel and Hoof Horsebox hire, It got off to a flying start and going from strength to strength.

Can’t forget a special mention to Sue and Kallie and Nigel without all your help at home none of this would be possible without all your support and help.

It has been a busy season filming for Sofian this year after the COVID break so not as much competing for them but Sparkle enjoys his hacks and Charlie and Harriette have enjoyed keeping him ticking over for Sofian and hopefully they will get a chance next year. In the meantime watch out for Sofian on telly “Please don’t forget us here Sofian when you rich and famous” 😜

Huge well done to everyone at Ufton Equestrian, looking forward to next season 👏⭐️🏆🥇🍾
