I joined the Bracknell Master meet with my swimming club yesterday, where I joined 3 events of 100m IM, 100m butterfly and 200m breaststroke.
Having been practising swimming less frequently than the recent 2 years recently due to my personal commitment, I decide not to push myself too hard for this event to avoid injury.
I’m glad to achieve personal bests in all three events, and winning silver in 100m butterfly and bronze in 200m breaststroke, two of the less popular events in this meet.
I have also uploaded the video clips of me swimming 100 meter butterfly in the comment below, to reflect the room of improvement of my butterfly technique. I enjoyed the atmosphere very much, as well as the cheering and mutual supports in my Club.
I will keep swimming.

尋日我跟泳會參加位於Bracknell鎮嘅大人水運會，游咗100米個人四式、100米蝶泳同埋200米蛙泳。
今年我生活比較忙碌，所以操水冇前兩年咁勤力。今次比賽，我志在參與完賽，唔好整親自己。
我好慶幸係呢三個項目都突破個人最佳成績，同埋喺100米蝶泳同200米蛙泳呢兩個比較少人報嘅比賽當中，分別奪得一銀一銅佳績。
我響下面留言擺咗我由100米蝶泳嘅影片，事後睇返呢條片，睇到自己嘅泳術依然有好大嘅進步空間。尋日我亦好享受現場比賽嘅氣氛，同埋我同隊友互相打氣支持。

I swam little in December due to flu in the UK - just 100x100m club event, and 2.8km club swim yesterday.
I wish myself a happy swimmingly year of 2026. I will keep swimming! 💪🏼

今年最後一個月，我跟泳會游咗100x100米，同埋響尋日假期後復操，游咗少少水。
希望新一年我可以繼續游水，長游長有💪🏼

I joined the annual 1500m freestyle event in Barnet Copthall pool in north London with my club mates yesterday. It was my 4th time swimming in this event.
I was grateful to achieve personal best again for 24’40”, a 40”-progress from the same event last year, and proud to motivate my club mates to join this event for their first time, and smashed it with good times. 🚀
My club mate lifted me home, while we had nice chats during the drive. It was a great social time for me too! ☺️
I will keep swimming.

尋日我同隊友一齊去倫敦北邊嘅Barnet Copthall泳池參與一年一度嘅千五米短池賽事，亦都係我連續第四年參與該比賽。
我好感恩，今年又創出個人佳績，以24分40秒完成賽事，比上年相同賽事快40秒。🚀
比賽過後，我隊友車我哋兩個返屋企，途中有講有笑，不亦樂乎！☺️

I swam 2km (5x400m-loops) in Bray Lake yesterday morning. It was much cooler than last week - Air was -1 °C, water was 8.5 °C.
As the water was cold enough for pointed swim for the challenge I have joined, I pushed myself to swim 2km for 54 minutes🥶, then took me an hour for recovery, before driving home.
I only swam 1.2km with my club in the evening, as I was exhausted. 🥱 😴
I will keep swimming.

尋日朝早揸咗大半個鐘頭車去Bray Lake游兩公里凍水。呢個禮拜英國寒流侵襲，所以尋日水溫大幅跌至8.5度，氣溫更跌至零下一度。
見到啲水夠凍，可以喺我參加咗嘅挑戰度攞到bonus 分數，所以我今次Push咗自己，盡力游到2公里，游咗54分鐘。🥶游完上水唞咗一個鐘先至回到氣，然後慢慢揸車返屋企。
尋晚返泳會照常操水，不過因為太攰，所以淨係游咗1.2公里就上水，返屋企休息。🥱😴

I swam 3 loops (750+400+250m) in Bray Lake this morning, which is 45min away from my home by car.
It was freezing at the beginning, but refreshing afterwards! 😆🥰
I will keep swimming.

今朝揸咗大半個鐘頭車去Bray Lake游凍水，游咗三個圈（750+400+250米）。
萬事起頭難，一落水嗰下好凍，游游吓就行氣活血、越游越爽😆游完就精神爽利迎接美好嘅一日🥰

I dipped in cold sea in Bournemouth today to celebrate the end of summer swim season with fellow swimmers, then back to Reading to enjoy Romanian cuisine with my friend, with his recommendation.
The Romanian soup and dessert fitted my taste. What a surprise for me! 😋
I will keep swimming.

今朝出 Bournemouth海邊游咗少少凍水，然後同泳友一齊慶祝今年渡海泳季結束。
傍晚返到去Reading，朋友介紹我一齊食羅馬尼亞菜，個湯同甜品都幾啱我口味，確實有驚喜😋

I joined the Discovery Bay Open Water Swims today. 3.8km-event first, followed by 1.7km-event immediately starting from a different beach.
I got 6th in both events in my competitive age group, so no podium for me, but fun and nice chats with old and new friends!
I will keep swimming.

我趁返港探親，參加咗今日嘅愉景灣渡海泳賽。朝早游完3.8公里之後，立即行去第二個地方開始1.7公里嘅賽事。
我所屬嘅年齡組別競爭激烈，故此我响兩項賽事均攞到第六名，無緣上台領獎。話雖如此，我都攞到設計精美嘅完賽獎牌，同埋敘舊以致認識新朋友。

I joined female 3k swim event of South East Region Open Water Championship in Redhill, organised by Swim England.
I got bronze in my age group, as there were only 3 swimmers in the group 🤪 I was the slowest swimmer in the event 😂, as every swimmer was very fast. I was satisfied with my time of 61 minutes and 50 seconds in 3k swim anyways.
It was a bliss to swim in the lake, on this gloriously sunny day with crystal-clear water of 22 degrees Celsius. 😌
I will keep swimming.

今日我去紅山鎮(Redhill)參加英格蘭泳總嘅東南區開放水域錦標賽(South East Region Open Water Championship)嘅女子大人組3公里泳賽。
我個年齡組別得三個泳手，所以我游得晒就獲頒銅牌🤪現場高手雲集，所以相比之下我係游得最慢嗰一位😂但我都相當滿意自己嘅時間。
今日天公做美、陽光普照、湖水清澈，更達水溫攝氏22度，所以今日游湖水，本身都係一種享受。😌

I’m swimming 10km in River Thames in London this August, to raise fund for Level Water, a charity subsidising private swim lessons for disabled kids.

Level water not only subsidises disabled kids having private swim lessons, but also trains swimming teachers (including me) to design lessons and teach disabled kids swimming, saving their lives in water.

It’s my honour to raise funds for Level Water, as a swimming teacher for disabled kids. Your donations counts — they will save kids’ lives.

Yesterday I finished Champion of Champions — a triple swim (5, 3, 1 miles) on the same day in Dover, organised by BLDSA. I pushed myself hard in wonderful sunny weather and calm water.
I enjoyed a dinner with non-alcoholic beer after the swim, then drove back home under dawn on summer solstice.
Today I swam just 1k with my club, as my arms are still very sore. I will recover and keep swimming.

尋日我成功完成英國長途泳協會(BLDSA)喺Dover舉辦嘅 Champion of Champions比賽，喺同一日內游三場渡海泳，距離分別為五英里、三英里、同埋一英里。
尋日天公做美、陽光普照、海水波平如鏡，而我亦盡力游出好成績。比賽過後，我去一間酒吧享用晚餐，並享用無酒精啤酒。食飽飯後，我趁當日夏至、艷陽依然高照，就隨即揸車返屋企。
今日我跟泳會淨係游咗一K，因為我手臂依然非常之酸軟。所以我今晚應該會好好瞓☺️
