Client shoutout to Darius . This was Darius Progress after the first 90 days of working together.

Having never properly stepped foot in a gym or lifted weights before his progress has been incredible. With many mentions and compliments around the gym, particularly around his dedication to the programme.

Muscle ⬆️
Body fat ⬇️
He’s in that sweet spot of a new trainer who can simultaneously do both.

Along with this we’ve managed to increase his mobility, posture and have got him eating more regularly throughout the day with increased protein intake and awareness of the benefits of what a balanced diet can do.

Top work Darius 🔥. Keep the progress going.

CALORIE TRACKING… Yes or No?!

Plateau or can’t start losing weight?

Generally this will come down to your calorie intake and energy output. If you’re putting in more than you move, you won’t shift it!

Realistically most of us don’t realise how high our input is due to the calorie dense food surrounding our lives. Even the “healthy” options are out to get you 👀!!

I’ll always advise my clients at the beginning and in the short term to download MyFitnessPal and take note of what you are consuming. You might be surprised!!

Intuitive eating hasn’t worked so far, why carry on the same way?! Change it up, you can return once you have reached your goal and got a better understanding of what that actually means and how much you are actually consuming.

Regular tracking is a great way to fully understand how many calories you need to consume for your goal and keep your body and mind function optimally.

Welcome to Coached by Charlie - Personal Trainer based in TNT Gym, Reading or Online Coaching, wherever you need it to be!

We aim to cover all aspects of your journey from your training, to nutrition and mindset to help you feel fitter, happier, healthier and ultimately stronger for your function, be that everyday life or a sports specific goal!

We believe every individual’s fitness journey is unique and we tailor every programme to fit their preferences and more importantly their goals.

Charlie has 11+ years experience specialising in 1-to-1 and small group personal training. The early part of Charlie’s career ran alongside a professional and semi-professional rugby career until forced into retirement at the age of 25. From then Charlie has solely focussed on bringing his passion for sport and exercise to a number of clients to help them improve their health. With great knowledge of not only effective training, strategies for staying healthy and a keen interest in making nutrition work for you without over complicated routines, boring fad diets and complete overhaul of the things you enjoy.
