🌟We Are Hiring – Head Route Setter

We are on the hunt for a Head Route Setter who’s got the skills and energy to thrive in our fast-paced and fun workspace!

As Head Route Setter, you will be responsible for shaping the climbing experience across our bouldering centre. This includes leading a high-performing setting team, delivering a diverse and engaging circuit of blocs, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, creativity, and consistency.

🎯What you’ll do:

• Lead the route setting programme for the site.
• Collaborate with coaching and operations teams to support comps, classes and training requirements.
• Ensure all setting activities follow current H&S legislation and company procedures.

• Pay: £30,000 - £32,000 pro rata

Are you full of energy, love working with people, and thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment? We’re looking for a Crew Member to join our team at The Climbing Hangar!

You’ll coach children, squads and adults, induct new climbers and work across reception, retail and the café. Ideally, you have customer service experience, a lot of enthusiasm and are a real team player. Does this sound like you?

- Ensure health and safety standards throughout the site

KID FRIENDLY CLIMBS

We've created a wide variety of epic blocs just for little climbers.

Look for Topo on start tags throughout the centre to find our kids climbs. They could be any colour, using a wide variety of climbing holds, but they’ll all have been set with junior climbers in mind.

Tickets are now available for our brand new comp Tour De Hangar, and our kids comp Tour De Hangar Jr.

We’re bringing the tour to all 9 Hangar gyms, complete with a new comp format (for over 14's), tons of giveaways and cash prizes for the big winners.

Tour De Hangar Jr will take place in the hours leading up to the main event for kids aged 7 to 13. No t-shirts or cash prizes for this one, but still an amazing experience for kids: the chance to experience a real bouldering comp, have loads of fun and meet other psyched young climbers.
