PPBC welcomed the Reading Community Health Champions for a spot of Bowling on Saturday 20th April.
Around 30 people attended the event, with food supplied by Tutu's Ethiopian Table after an hour spent bowling on the green. Fortunately the sun made an appearance even if it was a little cold at times.
This is a new initiative by our club to offer organisations the opportunity to have a go at bowling by way of a one off social event.
The feedback we have received from those who attended, has been overwhelmingly positive.

Our Bowls Taster Day was very successful on Saturday 20th. The last hour included an introduction to the skill, fun and games involved in the sport of lawn bowls when we hosted a Community Health Champions social bowls get together.
We were very pleased,at long last, to get Tutu on the green to play bowls for the first time. Tutu enjoyed it so much she is coming back for more.
