Movement looks a little different these days. The weights aren’t as heavy, the workouts aren’t as sweaty, and the intensity has shifted… but it still counts.
Movement is movement. It keeps my muscles working, blood flowing, and endorphins firing, and I’m so grateful for it in all its forms.
One thing I’ve always preached is finding enjoyment in your training. That’s what keeps you consistent. Right now, that lesson has never felt more true. Each session is about listening to my body, moving in ways that feel good, and celebrating what I can do.
Here’s what that looks like for me at the moment ⬇️
⚡️ Runs swapped for bike sessions
⚡️ High intensity WODS swapped for more moderate training with extra rest
⚡️ Long walks swapped for shorter, more frequent ones (I don’t want to go into labour in a random field an hour from home 😂)
⚡️ 6 training days down to 4 (on a good week!)
Different season, same mindset: keep moving, keep enjoying. 💪❤️
