Hi everyone 👋,

Just a quick reminder that our Summer Course is happening this Sunday, 14th June! ☀️🥋
📍 Location: St Catherine’s Academy, Newby Rd, Bolton, BL2 4HU
🕐 Time: 1:00pm – 3:00pm (2-hour session)
The course will be led by Paul Wolstencroft Sensei (6th Dan, Chief Instructor) 👊 – a fantastic opportunity to train, learn, and sharpen your skills with top-level guidance!
🔥 What’s happening on the day:

A fun, high-energy 2-hour training session 💪
Followed immediately by a Dan Grading 🎓
Spectators are very welcome to stay and watch – we have some amazing students and instructors grading, including up to Yondan (4th Dan) Black Belt level 🌟

✅ Who can attend?
This course is open to all students 9th Kyu (orange belt) and above
💷 Cost:

£12 per person
£10 each for 2 or more from the same household 👍

📖 Don’t forget your licence!
We’ll stamp it to record your attendance – these stamps count towards your future gradings ✅
🚗 Parking:
There is plenty of free parking available at the venue
👨‍👩‍👧 For parents:
There is no need to stay during the session – you’re welcome to drop off and pick up at the end. The venue is secure ✅

🌟 IT'S HERE! Ultimate Training Weekend – Hafan y Môr, Wales!

🥋🔥We’re set for an incredible few days of hard training, fun, and team spirit at beautiful Hafan y Môr – and we can’t wait to see everyone there!

🏡 Accommodation Reminder
Your stay is fully self-catering, so please remember to bring everything you’ll need – including:
🍴 Food & drinks
🛏️ Towels
🧻 Toilet roll
…and anything else for a comfortable stay!
If you experience any issues, please report them straight to reception.

Don’t forget to add your registration plate to the APP before you arrive so you can drive straight through the security gates without delay ✅

⚠️ We have a member with a severe nut allergy – NO products containing nuts are allowed in the dojo.

You are representing our club at both Haven and the training venue, so please continue to behave with the same respect and discipline you always show, we have an excellent reputation - let's keep it that way 💪

🎉 Sunday Fun & Extras
We’ll be finishing with our team games on Sunday, so feel free to bring a t-shirt for the last hour!
🏅 Everyone who completes the full 6 hours of training will receive a certificate
🏆 Plus, we have a trophy and medals for the winning team… bring your competitive spirit! Each Guest Instructor will be rewarding a lucky student with a trophy so get noticed by working hard and showing a great attitude.
