RAWTENSTALL 5-A-SIDE LEAGUE MATCH REPORT – MONDAY 16TH JUNE 2026

Another entertaining night of action in the Rawtenstall 5-a-side league saw goals flying in across all three Premiership fixtures, with attacking football taking centre stage throughout the evening.

The standout performance of the night came from Jeans FC, who continued their impressive form with a ruthless 14-7 victory over 5 Guys 1 Cup. Both sides contributed to an end-to-end contest packed with goals, but Jeans FC proved clinical in front of goal and pulled away in the latter stages to secure a memorable win.

Rossy FC also enjoyed a dominant evening, putting on an attacking masterclass to defeat Dog FC 12-4. Rossy were in full flow from the opening whistle and consistently found the net, producing one of the highest-scoring performances of the season so far.

The closest game of the night saw Western FC and Rozzy Rangers share the spoils in a thrilling 8-8 draw. Neither side could gain a decisive advantage as the lead changed hands several times throughout the contest. In the end, both teams had to settle for a point after one of the most entertaining matches seen this season.

Rawtenstall 5-a-Side Match Report
Monday 9th June 2026

Another high-scoring night lit up the Rawtenstall 5-a-side league as the Premiership teams served up a feast of goals, with an incredible 67 goals scored across just three fixtures.

JEANS FC 21-4 ROZZY RANGERS

JEANS FC produced the standout performance of the evening, hitting an astonishing 21 goals in a ruthless display against Rozzy Rangers. From the first whistle they were relentless in attack, showing clinical finishing and constant pressure to secure the biggest victory of the night. Despite the scoreline, Rozzy Rangers kept battling and managed four goals of their own in an entertaining encounter.

ROSSY FC 12-5 WESTERN FC

Rossy FC continued their impressive form with a convincing 12-5 victory over Western FC. Both sides contributed to an open and attacking game, but Rossy FC's cutting edge in front of goal ultimately proved the difference. Western FC created plenty of chances and found the net five times, but they were unable to keep pace with a rampant Rossy attack.

LARGENTINA 7-18 DOG FC

DOG FC rounded off the evening with a sensational attacking display, firing home 18 goals against Largentina. The match was played at a frantic pace with both teams committed to attacking football, but DOG FC were simply unstoppable in front of goal. Largentina showed plenty of spirit and scored seven times themselves, but DOG FC's relentless finishing secured a dominant win.

Another action-packed evening of Premiership football in Rawtenstall saw goals flying in across all three fixtures, with a remarkable 69 goals scored on the night.

DOG FC 13-11 WESTERN FC

The evening got underway with a goal fest as DOG FC edged past Western FC in a thrilling encounter. Both sides attacked relentlessly from the first whistle, producing end-to-end football and plenty of quality finishing. DOG FC just managed to keep their noses in front during the closing stages to secure a hard-earned 13-11 victory.

JEANS FC 9-12 ROSSY FC

Rossy FC claimed all three points in the second fixture with an impressive 12-9 win over Jeans FC. Despite Jeans FC battling throughout and finding the net regularly, Rossy FC's clinical finishing proved the difference. A strong attacking display ensured Rossy FC walked away with a deserved victory.

LARGENTINA 13-11 ROZZY RANGERS

The final game of the night delivered more drama as LArgentina overcame Rozzy Rangers 13-11. Both teams traded goals throughout an entertaining contest, but LArgentina showed great composure in front of goal to secure the win. Rozzy Rangers pushed hard until the final whistle, but LArgentina's attacking quality ultimately proved decisive.

Premiership – Monday Evening, 18/05/2026

The Rawtenstall Premiership served up goals, drama and a standout goalkeeping performance on Monday night, with three entertaining fixtures producing 62 goals across the evening.

ROZZY RANGERS 5 – 17 DOG FC

DOG FC turned in the performance of the night with an emphatic victory over Rozzy Rangers. From the opening stages they looked sharp in possession, clinical in front of goal and never allowed Rangers to settle into the contest.

Seventeen goals tells its own story as DOG FC ran riot going forward, while Rozzy Rangers battled throughout but struggled to contain the relentless attacking pressure. A huge statement result and one that could have implications at the top end of the table.

Result: DOG FC take the points in dominant fashion.

WESTERN FC 7 – 15 ROSSY ROWDEHS

Another high-scoring affair followed as Rossy Rowdehs put together an impressive attacking display to overcome Western FC.

Western showed plenty of fight and managed seven goals of their own, but the Rowdehs were ruthless whenever opportunities came their way. Quick transitions and clinical finishing helped them build a lead that Western couldn’t claw back.
