Are you looking to become more active and join a community of others all striving to achieve the same goal while having fun?

We have the exercise class for you running on a Tuesday AND NOW a Thursday evening at The Hideaway, Egerton, BL7 9SA, with spaces available:

Tuesday - 7:15 - 8pm
Tuesday - 8:15 - 9pm

&

**Thursday - 6:15pm - 7pm**

Classes are functional based which are designed to help you with every day life as well as increasing strength endurance.

The prices of our classes are:
£4 per session
£14 for 4 sessions (1 p/w, Monthly)
£24 for 8 session (2 p/w, Monthly)

MORE THAN ONE WAY TO PROGRESS 📈🤔

Something that I see a lot of is some frustration when the weight isn’t going up every week in their log books.

However, there’s more than one way to measure progress and it doesn’t have to include bigger numbers on every single exercise…

Progress can be made in:
- Increased reps
- Increased sets / volume
- Better form
- More confident lifting

Taking form as an example, in this new training block I had a couple of exercises I’d not done before. Week one I picked a challenging working weight, then stayed at that weight for the next 4 sessions. I only focused on improving HOW I moved the weight, not how much I moved.

After recording each set and watching them back, you could see the improvement in the ex*****on of the exercise, as well as my confidence in doing so, which is a massive win and most definitely progress (without increasing the weight).

Just something to bear in mind next time you step into the gym to slap a few PB’s, it might not be a PB weight, but was it a PB performance?

Progress is never linear 📈.

Yet this is also what everyone expects. The truth is if you don't set realistic expectations, you will never get realistic results. ⁠

I have seen many clients struggle with taking pictures, measurements, weighing in etc and not seeing a linear progression. Sometimes it can totally derail them giving them a "well if i didn't make progress today might as well go on a binge and eat a pizza" mentality. Is that you? Keep reading. ⁠

Results don't come from linear metrics on scales, measuring tapes or even pictures. The human body simply does not function in that way. The human body is a flexible and always changing entity that really never works in a linear fashion. ⁠

A true graph of progress really looks exactly how i charted it on this graphic. Ups and downs. Struggles and challenges. Moments of "progress" and moments where you want to quit. ⁠

Here is the secret: Progress doesn't need to be linear in a perfect line. All it needs to be is a forward motion. ⁠

Failed today? Get up and keep moving forward. ⁠

Scale was up today? Get up and keep moving forward. ⁠

Feeling fat and sh*tty today? Get up and keep moving forward.⁠

Actually felt good about progress today? Get up and keep moving forward. ⁠

You inevitably will attain your goal no matter what it is as long as you pursue it relentlessly. ⁠

Don't give up. Don't derail yourself because of a bump in the road. ⁠

Do more, get better and keep on moving forward. ⁠

All you need to do is make a START! The rest will follow!

This isn’t a “How to grow the perfect garden”

It’s a “How to grow MORE in my Life”

If we think of seeds like nutrition, training, mindset, lifestyle, routine and time management.

These are usually the things we want to get better at…to live in the best body we physically can.

The only issue is… you aren’t watering these seeds, and that’s why they aren’t growing.

You want this body that you’re proud to look in the mirror to see, but you’re only training every now and again and you’re not following a plan.

You’re starving yourself something rotten but then over indulging on the back end of it.

You’re not taking time for yourself - to give your best version of you.

What we preach is watering these seeds with the right amount of water for your life to still run.

Because once you start to water one with the right time and energy, the rest will come as a byproduct.

Little by little, step by step, 1% better everyday.

You Wont Know Unless You Try!!

Being a personal trainer for 6 years working & listening too many people talk about aspirations/goals around the world, really does make me think about the amount of people who just give up before even trying.

The people who just don’t have the clarity in themselves & the belief.

How many times have you said you want to lose weight?

How many times have you said you’re going to go the gym?

How many times have you said you’re going to go to bed earlier?

It’s all just words.

Your actions are going to prove a lot more to YOU than the words you say.

When was the last time that you actually tried dieting, with the right guidance?

When was the last time you actually got your gym stuff together the night before to not have an excuse to not go?

When was the last time you put your phone away and actually went to bed early?
