Simple drills and reps to activate the front leg — either proactively to strike or reactively as a defence.

No resistance here. This is early-stage practice, focusing on using the front leg as your first action, landing in your dominant stance while consistently closing distance.

Once the static phase is solid, add movement, timing, and progressive resistance from your partner.

🇬🇧 KMG UK – National Training & Grading Weekend 🇬🇧

What an incredible way to close out the training year!

Our flagship end-of-year event was at full capacity, and the energy on the mats was unreal.

Two full days of hard work, high standards, and serious determination from everyone involved.

A huge thank you to Master Level Instructor Zeev Cohen for leading the weekend with world-class expertise, supported by KMG UK Director Jonathan Bullock and our outstanding senior instructor team. The level of coaching, professionalism, and passion made this one of our strongest national events to date.

Massive congratulations to everyone who stepped up for grading, your commitment showed, and we saw some truly impressive successes across the board.

Well done to all who trained, tested, supported, and pushed themselves.

What a fantastic way to end the training year.
