❤️🖤 FULL TIME | THE LOUNGE RYECROFT 5–3 INTER ROTHER 🖤❤️

First home game. First home win. Another three points! 🔥⚽️

The lads started the game brilliantly and were rewarded when Aaron Lister opened up the scoring, before Kane Middleton made it 2–0 just four minutes later.

Inter Rother fought back with two quick goals to level things at 2–2. It could have knocked us, but the lads regrouped brilliantly and came back stronger. Kane Middleton grabbed his second goal, assisted by Aaron Lister, to send us into half time 3–2 ahead. 💪

The second half started perfectly when new signing Dean Williamson scored to make it 4–2. Inter Rother pulled one back, but Kane Middleton completed his HAT-TRICK in the 88th minute to seal a brilliant 5–3 victory! 🎩⚽️⚽️⚽️

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH — KANE MIDDLETON — A fantastic hat-trick and a huge performance! 👏🔥

A massive well done to the whole squad — everyone played their part and showed great character, especially after conceding those two quick goals.

Also a big welcome and well done to our new signings Danny South, Dean Williamson and Curtis Lawrence — with Dean getting himself straight on the scoresheet! 👏

🔴⚫️ FULL TIME | FIRST LEAGUE GAME, FIRST WIN! ⚫️🔴

We got off to the perfect start when Michael “Rambo” Ramsden converted an indirect free kick to put us 1–0 up. We then went through a bit of a rocky spell and Kimberworth Park managed to pull one back to level the game.

But we responded brilliantly. Kane Middleton stepped up with a quality finish to restore our lead before adding another to make it 3–1 going into half-time. 🔥🔥

The second half was much more controlled from us. We settled into the game, kept the ball better and Adam Ghani got himself on the scoresheet to make it 4–1.

Kimberworth Park were then awarded a penalty, but Kirk Shaw produced a brilliant save to keep them out! 🧤🚫

Rambo then rounded off the scoring with another brilliant goal to make it 5–1 and secure all three points! 💥

🏆 MAN OF THE MATCH — KIRK SHAW 🧤�An outstanding performance from our keeper. Played through injury, pulled off a brilliant penalty save and was constantly sweeping up behind the defence when called upon. Absolutely massive for us today! 👏

It certainly wasn’t our best performance, and there are things we know we can improve on, but to come away with a 5–1 win in our first league game is a brilliant start. Plenty of positives to take forward, plenty more to come — and we’ve still got players to return to the squad! 👀💪
