The biggest mistake people make when choosing a program or a coach…

… not choosing one that aligns with their own values, their nervous system, and their natural rhythm of working, creating, and being.

So often, I see sensitive, intuitive, heart-led women forcing themselves into strategies, schedules, and systems that don’t feel right in their body and that feel rigid, disconnected, or simply exhausting and unsustainable.

They sign up for programs built on pushing through, newest trend visibility hacks, or somebody else’s blueprints that ignore their actual lived experience: their cycles, their capacity, their relational needs, their deeper soul purpose.

And when it doesn’t work?

They think something is wrong with them.

That they are not cut out for business.

And that they need to try harder, do more, and hustle better.

But the truth is they just chose support that was not created with them in mind.

If the container isn’t rooted in attunement, embodiment, and your own definition of success, then it’s not a failure to walk away.

👉 It’s actually an act of self-trust.

I am speaking from a lived experience here. I made that mistake a couple of times and paid for it with money, time and my sanity. And I hear a version of this story so often. I know how painful this experience is.

This is why my approach isn’t about turning you into someone else - someone louder, faster, more polished, or more influential.

It’s about helping you come home to yourself and embrace your gifts, wisdom and lived experience.

To honour your nervous system so it helps you grow your capacity to receive more.

To build visibility from connection and relationships that can lead to deep healing.

To create and share your work in ways that feel spacious, joyful, sustainable, and aligned with who you truly are.

Because when you stop trying to be someone you are not and start building from your natural rhythm, your deeper values, and your inner knowing that’s when magic happens and things begin to flow.

So

If you’re tired of trying to follow someone else’s path, maybe it’s time to carve your own Embodied Wisdom Path with support that honours you.

Do it for yourself. Lean into your life and joy.

👉 What Consent Really Means in Trauma-Informed Somatic Coaching and Teaching

In this episode of my show Through a Trauma-Informed Lens: Soma, Psyche & Soul, I explore consent as a lived, embodied and nervous-system-based experience - not just something we agree to only at the level of the mind. I share why consent is foundational in trauma-informed somatic coaching and teaching, and why it is an ongoing, relational practice rather than a one-off agreement. We look at how trauma shapes our capacity to sense and express consent, and how safety is co-created moment by moment between practitioner and client.

This episode is especially for women who work - or feel called to work - as coaches, yoga teachers, facilitators or practitioners, and who want to create safer, more ethical and more embodied spaces for the people they support.

In this episode I talk about:

~ Consent as a somatic and nervous-system-based experience

~ The difference between cognitive consent and embodied consent

~ How trauma can shape our ability to sense and communicate consent

~ Why safety is relational and co-created, not simply provided

~ The role of practitioner embodiment, boundaries and nervous-system awareness

If this resonates and you’re curious about going deeper, I warmly invite you to explore my 160-hour Trauma-Informed Somatic Teacher & Coach for Women Certification.

DO YOU ALLOW YOURSELF TO ACKNOWLEDGE AND HONOUR YOUR NEEDS?

One thing that I’ve learned over the years is that we can’t be ‘on’ all the time. We are not machines.

And yes - of course we all know it - but only on a mind level.

But we act as if it was not true.

We act as if we were machines and we worship productivity above all else.

This way of working and being is very damaging to all of us, and especially to women.

We are cyclical beings.

You cannot be in constant growth and productivity all the time.

Yes, our society and productivity gurus say otherwise.

And believe me - I tried to embrace their logic - and failed miserably many times.

My workaholic and ‘wanting approval’ parts tried many times to follow the well-intentioned advice of movitational male gurus proclaiming the power and miracle of productivity and growth.

But it never worked for long.
Each time I would exhaust myself and crash, repeating that cycle again and again.

And no - there was nothing wrong with me.
No matter what those gurus and the society tell us.

It’s simply unsustainable for my female body. Especially now that I am 52.

It’s unsustainable - full stop.
And our beautiful planet’s state is a clear proof of that.

I had to find another way to work and grow my business. I had to take my power back and reclaim my innate wisdom.

I allowed myself to accept life as it is - with its seasons, growth and integration periods, deep work and soft rest, and both doing and being.

I had to find my own pace and rhythm, in a way that allowed me to honour my needs. So then I can work with and support others on a deeper level.

So today as the weekend starts and the summer is in its full swing - I am pacing myself and taking time to rest, reflect and dream.

My soul feels full from the heartfelt connection with other female practitioners in our community but my body needs slow rest and integration.

In the past I would get upset with my body for doing this to me and forcing me to slow down but these days I simply feel compassion and deep gratitude that my body is communicating with me its needs so clearly.

Today I feel grateful for allowing myself to simply acknowledge and accept how I’m feeling - without jumping to trying to fix it or numb it.

I know that pushing through or ‘showing it who’s the boss’ is just going to create conflict within me.
And why the hell would I want to create my own inner war?

So if you’re feeling tired, exhausted, overwhelmed or burnout - I’d like to invite you to be kind and gentle with yourself.

This is how your body is communicating a message saying ‘no more’.

Take some time to connect with what’s really going on for you. Sense into your felt experience and create a loving communication - allow yourself to understand your own needs and what’s wanted here.

This is a different way of being.
A way with curiosity and compassion.
A gentle - and sometimes fierce - embracing of the wholeness of you.

Today I’d like to invite you to do it for yourself first.
And then if you are called to it - share it with others.

Let’s create a gentle revolution of embracing our needs.

28/05/2026

Have you ever felt like you’ve been on an inner journey and after a long time you’ve arrived in the same space as the one you started? This is what I’ve been feeling recently.

I’ve been on a journey of learning, growing and healing for the past 30 years. I started my ‘official’ learning path with Yoga, Mindfulness and Loving kindness, and with Existential and Person-centred counselling and group work in 1995.

But what I was strongly drawn to was energy work and healing. I did a lot of training but when I started working at a crisis centre in central London I had to choose what I would commit to.

So I chose to follow a path focused more on therapeutic and body-focused approaches - Soma and Psyche. And trained in many modalities and approaches. And Soul part was kept for a private space. Just for me to experience.

It feels like I’ve arrived back to where I started - and I am different now. I’ve been on my own Heroine’s Journey.

This is something you have to experience yourself to fully embody it. The great news is that you can have guides who help you on this journey.

This is what our Trauma-informed Somatic Teacher and Coach for Women certification is all about. It’s a journey of your own healing, learning and growth so you become a guide for others. It guides you to experience a deep transformation and tap into healing and solutions within you and your clients.

It teaches you how to embrace yourself fully in a truly holistic way - Soma, Psyche and Soul, and within contexts of your relationships, work, business and feminine leadership. To embody who you want to be and walk your path with confidence, trust and faith.

We all have aspects of our being that we neglect but they drive our behaviours and decisions, and create our reality.

If you’re working hard but still not experiencing what you want - there is something that is playing out underneath your conscious awareness. And you can’t change what you are not aware of. Awareness comes first - and then you can find solutions within yourself, rather than just follow somebody else’s framework or advice. You become truly empowered this way. If this resonates let’s connect.
