Important Announcement - War Machines Gym Closure
Dear Valued Members and Community,
It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I must announce the immediate closure of War Machines Gym. After exhausting all available options, the business has entered liquidation and our doors will be closing permanently.
For the past six months, I have been fighting a relentless rear-guard action to keep War Machines alive. However, mounting financial pressures combined with the recent opening of several competing gyms in our area have created circumstances that are simply insurmountable. Despite my best efforts, I am no longer able to sustain operations.
This decision devastates me more than words can express. I have fought to keep these doors open far longer than I should have, driven by my unwillingness to let go of the business I built from nothing over the past 10 years. War Machines has been my life's work - we survived the COVID pandemic, weathered the challenges of multiple chain gym openings, and pushed through economic recessions. But sometimes, even the strongest fighters must know when the battle is over.
Building War Machines from the ground up has been the greatest privilege of my professional life. Watching our community grow, seeing members achieve their goals, and being part of so many fitness journeys has meant everything to me. This gym wasn't just a business - it was a second home, a place where friendships were forged and personal victories were celebrated.
To every single member who walked through our doors, supported us through the tough times, and made War Machines the special place it became - thank you. Your loyalty, understanding, and encouragement over the years have been the fuel that kept me going, even when the odds seemed impossible. You made every early morning, every late night, and every challenge worthwhile.
I am deeply sorry that it has come to this, and I wish circumstances could have been different. War Machines may be closing, but the bonds we've built and the achievements we've shared will live on.
With profound gratitude and heartfelt sadness,
Nikky
