Good Day all, I'm very pleased to report our new director has sprung into action on her first day in post, not only by playing in the CHWGL Audrey Nicole Cup, 18 hole Strokeplay competition, but by WINNING it!
Congratulations Bella, fabulous result battling against the wind and rain to win best overall best nett score for hcp index 18.5 to 28.4 hosted by Lakeside Lodge GC.
This is a great competition held every year at different county venues, hopefully next year we'll have more entries from Ramsey GC.

This past weekend was the annual 3 days of golf competition against our dear friends of Royal Guernsey Golf Club.
Now in its 54th year, this event proved to be another great occasion. The ladies and gents completed convincing wins over Royal Guernsey; after some very competitive golf, to regain the shield.
Roll on September for the return fixture at Royal Guernsey.

BIG BOWLS WEEKEND....... 24th May
To all Members & residents of Ramsey - Please do not forget our 'Big bowls Weekend' coming to our Green on Sunday, 24th May (10.30 start). Your chance to come and have a go at our great sport - for free !
All you need are some flat shoes, as all equipment/ tuition will be provided.
We also have some target games for the kiddies, and the Clubhouse bar will open for refreshments…

Junior Golf Fun Night
Good evening Members,
Tomorrow (Thursday 9th April) evening Lucy Mills-Cripps will be hosting the first golf taster session for the Junior section from 6-8pm at the Club.
The first one for many a year and hopefully the first of many, that will increase the number of male and female junior members.
If you know of any Juniors that would like to come along, then please pass on the info to their Parents, or better still es**rt the family along to experience the joy of golf and the friendships it will create.

President Tracy, and Vice President Les welcomed almost 50 Club Members to our first official Roll - up Today. All rinks were packed, and it was good to see so many new faces. On a blustery Day, the bacon/ sausage baps and coffee at the break went down a treat ! Judging by the standard on the green, it all bodes well for another exciting season at Ramsey BC- come on the Rams !
