🏉Match Result - NWYJRL Rd10🏉

Thatto travelled to our neighbours and local rivals Haresfinch on Sunday, it was a tough day all round due to the heat, but both teams dug in and played some great rugby in spells, but was maud with errors due to the heat and competition from both sides. Thatto scored first, with Finch responding not long after. Finch scored again at the start of the second half, and not long after awarded a penalty near Thattos line, which was converted giving Finch the lead. Thatto then put pressure on the Finch defence and came up with an error and capitalised on a well worked play to see out the set. Half way through the second half Thatto was awarded a tap penalty, in which they put more pressure on the Finch defence and Thatto broke through the line to score a 60+ metre try. Not long after the kick return to start the game Thatto again pressured Finchs line and cross under the post to seal the win.

Well done to both side for a good game of rugby. Good luck to Haresfinch for the remainder of the season 👍🏼

🏉Match Result - NWC Cup🏉

Thatto travelled to Folly Lane on Sunday, it started out a tough on both side, but Thatto finding there groove early on and part way through the 1st half finding the try line. Folly never gave in but struggled to put pressure on Thatto, until some errors came Thatto's way, and Folly capitalised with a very stylish try by there winger.

The second half, and Folly started off well, putting early pressure on Thatto. Thatto seem to switch off for 12mins in which let Folly score twice and also convert. Thatto then held Folly out for the remainder of the second half but had no answer for Folly.

Folly Lane move on to the next round of the NWC Cup and Thatto wish them the best of luck, and look forward to meeting them in there league fixture.
