Brilliant Angelo Parisi Course & Seminar at Brentwood on Sunday 30th November 2025.

Both u18 (morning session), and 18+ (afternoon session) Judoka, from all Judo groups came together for this first Angelo Parisi special event.

The feedback from those on the Course and spectating is exceptionally good.

Today, we had a brilliant A.E.J.F Judo Kata Course in Brentwood, Essex.

There was plenty of Instructors and Students attending the Katame-no-Kata and Nage-No-Kata Course, which both David Norman 4th Dan and John McCarthy 7th Dan were Course instructors.

Halfway through the course, Shayne Thorn was promoted to 6th Dan, after completing over 42 years Judo.

Chris Cooper was presented with the Presidents previous Red & White Belt, and Chris presented the President with a Gambian carved Judo walking stick (think Chris is trying to tell our President something, lol) which he just brought back from Gambia, after spending amonth teachingout there.

Everyone gave 100% and unfortunately we ran out of time to complete both Nage-No-Kata and Katame-no-Kata.

There will be other Kata Courses with Nage-No-Kata on one day, and Katame-no-Kata on another day, just to ensure everyone is well conversant with both Katas.
