Club Announcement

Thank You, Mike Kindred ๐Ÿ’

After more than five years as Head Coach of Invicta Junior Ice Hockey Club, Mike Kindred has made the decision to step down from his role.

Mike took on the position shortly after the challenges of COVID, at a time when player numbers were low and many clubs across the country were rebuilding. Through his dedication, leadership, and countless hours of volunteer service, Mike helped guide Invicta through that period and played a major role in the clubโ€™s continued growth and success.

During Mikeโ€™s time as Head Coach, the club has achieved a number of significant milestones, including:

๐Ÿ’ A record number of registered players last season
๐Ÿ’ A record number of girls playing within the club
๐Ÿ’ A record number of players representing England and Great Britain on the international stage

These achievements are a testament not only to the talent and commitment of our players, but also to Mikeโ€™s vision, passion, and tireless work behind the scenes.

As a volunteer, Mike has consistently gone above and beyond for the club, its players, coaches, managers, and families. His impact on Invicta extends far beyond the ice, and he has helped shape the positive, supportive culture that makes our club so special.

While Mike is stepping down as Head Coach, he will always remain part of the Invicta Family.

On behalf of everyone at Invicta Junior Ice Hockey Club, we would like to thank Mike for everything he has done for the club over the past five years. We wish him all the very best for the future and look forward to seeing him around the rink for many years to come.

๐Ÿ’™ Thank you, Mike. ๐Ÿ’™

The Four Nations Tournament in Fife, Scotland is now underway, with England, Scotland, Spain, and Belgium all competing โ€” and weโ€™re incredibly proud to see our Invicta juniors Michael, Ben, and Xenxo representing the England U15s squad.
Theyโ€™ve made an explosive start to the tournament, securing a fantastic 7โ€“1 victory over Spain in their opening game. Tomorrow, attention turns to Belgium as the team looks to continue their strong form.
The Power of 11 England teams also got their campaigns underway today. England A narrowly missed out against Scotland in a closely fought match, but bounced back brilliantly to claim victory over England B in their second game.
A special mention goes to Ethan, proudly representing Invicta in the Power of 11 squads and doing both himself and the club proud.
Good luck to all our players for the rest of the tournament โ€” everyone at Invicta is behind you!

It's the final home game of the 25/26 season for our Bucks and Broncos!

For some of our Broncos this will be the last game on home ice in an Invicta jersey, so everyone at the rink make some noise!
