We would like to thank all our members who volunteered this morning to help with the clean-up after Rainford’s picnic in the park.

The site was cleared in record time thanks to the efforts of our members and the other volunteers who gave their time to help.

The organisers of Picnic in the Park were extremely appreciative of the support provided by members of Rainford Tennis Club and have asked us to pass on their sincere thanks.

This year's festival was a tremendous success, culminating in a fantastic performance from headline act Tony Hadley, and was enjoyed by everyone who attended.

We are already looking forward to next year's event!

SHALE COURT PREPARATION

We are appealing for the help of our members to help get our shale courts ready for the new season.

We are planning on preparing Courts 1 and 2 for the new season with work starting on Saturday and Sunday this weekend.

We need volunteers to help prepare the surface and so if you can help, please come along from 10:00am each day. If you have tools such as hoes, lawn rakes, hammers and shovels, please bring them with you.
