Radyr Cricket Club Founded in 1890, our club is a welcoming and inclusive community where you can meet new people, have fun and play cricket.

We have 6 senior Saturday teams, 2 women's hardball teams, 2 softball teams and a thriving youth section!

🏏 WEEKEND ROUNDUP: 4 out of 6!

​A massive weekend of cricket for the club with some serious shifts put in across all six divisions. From massive hundreds to clutch bowling spells, here is how the action unfolded:

​🟢 THE WINS

​3XI (Div 5): A brilliant bowling display held Lisvane 2XI to 183 before I. Llewelyn anchored the chase with a superb 72*, steering us home to a 6-wicket victory!

​4XI (Div 8): N. O’Neil was unplayable, turning the match on its head with unbelievable figures of 5/24 to bowl Miskin Manor 3XI out for 150. M. Junaid then held his nerve with 37* to secure a 4-wicket win.

​5XI (Div 14): A tight, gritty affair against St Fagans 4XI. Defending 197, our bowling attack stepped up big time under pressure to seal a crucial 13-run win.

​6XI (Div 15): PERFORMANCE OF THE WEEKEND! 🌟 A. Roberts smashed a magnificent, unbeaten 117* to carry the team to a thrilling 5-wicket victory over Porth 2XI, chasing down 187.

​⚫ THE LEARNINGS

​1XI (Div 1): A tough day at the office against a strong Panteg 1XI side, who posted a massive 274, having lost the toss on a good wicket. We dust ourselves down and go again next week.

​2XI (Div 2): Faced a mountain of a chase after Lisvane 1XI racked up 311. A. Bywater (47) and T. Makin (35) fought hard with the bat, but it wasn't to be, resulting in a 140-run defeat. (
