🎯 Mindhead Academy – Season 3, Week 7 🎯

We're nearly at the end of our first Academy season, and once again we enjoyed a fantastic session full of challenges, games, and great darts.

🏆 Academy All Rounder Award - This week's award goes to Alfie -Alfie showed great improvement from last week. He didn't let a bad throw affect his attitude, stayed positive throughout the session, marked well, and encouraged others around him. It was fantastic to see such a positive approach and contribution to the Academy.

A special mention also goes to Charlie Mossman for achieving a new personal best in the JDC Challenge. This is his third personal best of the season, which is a fantastic achievement and a reflection of all the hard work he's been putting in. Well done, Charlie!

After the JDC Challenge, we moved on to a series of singles matches, which produced some excellent games, competitive darts, and great sportsmanship from everyone involved.
Well done to everybody for another fantastic week. We're looking forward to seeing you all next week as we complete our first Academy season.

What a great session at this week's academy! The juniors took part in a Halve-It and Bullseye Challenges, along with the weekly JDC Challenge. The JDC included a personal best for Riley W 🏆, so a massive well done on that fantastic achievement! 👏

🎯 Street Academy – Season 3, Week 7🎯

This week, the juniors took part in a Quarters and Targets Challenge, which was great practice before moving on to the JDC.
Well done to everyone for the great effort shown in all of your challenges throughout the session.

We also played some singles matches, worked on check-out practice, and focused on other targets around the board.

Well done to everybody. It was great to see some positive attitudes and also to see consistency continuing to build, which is really encouraging.

🏆This week's Academy All-Rounder Award was presented to Connor - He performed really well in all of his challenges and in the JDC, making it a fantastic session for him.

🎯 Radstock Academy – Season 3, Weeks 5 & 6 🎯

Weeks 5 and 6 marked an exciting milestone for Radstock Academy as we began playing our academy sessions at our new venue 🏠🎉. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to help set everything up for our first night – your support was greatly appreciated 🙌.
We're delighted that all of the juniors adapted so well to the new surroundings and settled in quickly 👏😊.

🎯 Week 5 Challenges
Our challenge focus was on Doubles and Trebles, with the younger players also taking part in the Picture Card Challenge followed by the JDC challenge. The session concluded with a One-Leg Shootout, Double In, Double Out 🔥, providing excellent match practice following the doubles training.

🎯Week 6
The challenges moved on to Quarters and Target Games, while the evening match format saw players competing in pairs 🤝.
As always, the JDC Challenge was a key part of the session and produced some excellent scoring performances 💪💯.

👏 Well done to all of our juniors across both weeks for their fantastic effort, enthusiasm and commitment throughout the challenges and JDC scoring.

🎯 MINEHEAD ACADEMY SEASON 3 – WEEK 6 🎯

Last week, our juniors took part in the Quarters on Target Challenge, followed by the weekly JDC.

There were brilliant challenge scores from everyone involved. Well done to all the juniors for their great effort! 👏

Highbridge Academy Season 3 Week 6

Great session last week for all the juniors.
The session started with challenges on odd numbers and different targets around the board, followed by the weekly JDC.

Board 3 – Riley W with 557
Board 4 – Jaden with 295
Board 5 – Robert with 55 on the Equaliser
Board 6 – Archie with 110 on the Equaliser

After the JDC, we moved into some one-leg shootouts, double-in, double-out, which provided some great practice for everyone. Big well done to Alfie for adding another 180 to his academy tally!

Across the evening, it was fantastic to see improvements in concentration, some great doubles being hit, improvements in scoring, and players moving up onto different boards.
It was also great to see some of our younger juniors really focusing on throwing from the correct distance, which is amazing progress.

Fantastic session from the juniors last week

A big shout-out to everyone for the excellent sportsmanship on show throughout the session. It was brilliant to see and something we're very proud of. Well done, everyone! 👏

Another fantastic session at Minehead Academy last week! 👏

It was great to see some of our juniors encouraging one another, throwing consistently, and showing real determination when things got tough.

The session started with our Trebles & Doubles Challenge 🎯 before moving on to the JDC Challenge, which once again produced some excellent scores.
