The skill level of all the ladies is constantly increasing and its a pleasure to be a part of.

The team have a few friendlies coming up and a tournament to look forward to in November so watch this space!

We had a great turn out for this morning's training session in the sun ☀

Mandy lead some drills on going from attacking to defending quickly before the ladies had a game to end the session off which saw some great passing and a screamer of a volley from Shelly.

Absolutely fantastic tournament today. 6 teams attended and the guys from Man City and Manchester FA did a great job of organising the day. It was great to meet a few of our most local teams including Bury Ladies and Haslington Women.

Our Sonics did us proud and improved with every game played, earning their first win near the end of the day. It was great to see so many women out and enjoying the game. Hopefully we will see the other teams in a regular league soon 🤞

Manchester City Ladies Walking Football teams have arranged today's tournament in Wythenshawe at the Woodhouse Park Leisure Centre. Why not pop down and cheer our women on in their first competitive games and check out what walking football is all about.

Welcome to Prestwich & Whitefield Walking Football Club!

Are you looking for a fun way to get into exercise? Have you previously played or always had an interest in football? Never kicked a ball in your life but looking for a fun way to spend an hour on a Sunday morning? Then we are the group for you!

We offer fun and friendly walking football sessions aimed at women over 35 who want to try the sport, make friends and enjoy some gentle exercise each week. We get together each Sunday at Radcliffe Football ground and our players travel from all over the Prestwich and Bury area. Some even from Stockport!

If you have a competitive streak then there is the opportunity to play in friendly games and tournaments as part of our team the Radcliffe Sonics. But there is absolutely no pressure to play in any games. Above all we are an inclusive group who value the physical and mental health benefits of regular exercise and being a part of a group.

If you are interested in trying out a session with us then pop us a message for all of the details. And keep an eye on the page for regular updates on sessions, games and to get to know the team.
