Last night we were ready for the arrival of 37 members to attend the first presentation evening to be held in our own clubhouse. Thanks to the wonderful Vicky and Katie from The Humble Cat for the delicious food. The evening went smoothly and was enjoyed by all.

This weekend is the club Finals. Games on both days morning and afternoon. Good luck to all those playing. Do come along and watch if you are not playing. We are hoping the rain holds off 🤞.

We have social bowling today 2pm til 4pm. There are also internal competition heats taking part on some days so if you just want to watch. Come along and join us.

Radcliffe on Trent has a lovely bowling club and we have social bowling this afternoon 2pm to 4pm. If you fancy a go at bowling do come along, we just ask you to wear flat soled shoes ie trainers. If you can't make Monday afternoon and would like to try bowling, contact us and we can arrange for you to come and have a go.

The bowls season started yesterday with our first event, the weather couldn't have been better. Today is the first of our social bowling sessions. If you fancy a go at bowling do come along on any Monday (weather permitting) 2pm to 4pm. You just need to wear flat soles shoes ie trainers.

During the closed season our members are still using the clubhouse for carpet bowls, cards and domino’s. All members are welcome to any of these sessions.

End of the season is fast approaching. This weekend we have our club finals, starting on Friday afternoon at 2pm and finishing on Monday afternoon. There will be six sessions including both Saturday and Sunday mornings and afternoons. It looks like the weather is going to be kind to us.
The following Sunday all day and Monday afternoon, we host the LCBC external competition finals. This is the last LCBC event we host as President- it’s been a learning curve but a great season and lovely to see the green being used for all the LCBC games.

Good luck to all our members taking part in our Bakewell Fours Competition tomorrow. We also have two members in the final of the BL Champion of Champions pairs final, hope they have a good game too. Looks like they will all be very warm, judging by the weather forecast.
