We are looking for 12 ladies who would like to join the 12 week “ MENOMIND PROGRAMME”.

Afternoon members,

Just a few things, can i please ask that you turn the music and lights off when you leave the building.
-
Can I also ask that when you have finished with your weights you would put them back where they belong.
-
Can I also ask that you book your class on the timetable and not just turn up please, we have instructors logging in and it says no one is booked on the classes when infact people are just turning up.
-
One final thing we have some new kit arriving next week two treadmills, an air-bike and a ski urg, these are all small changes but for you as members.

Magic Circle March continues at Fortitude Fortis and this week my “Pilates 5 in 5” is a Glute focused set of exercises which are a combination from both of my classes 😀

The 90 / 90 Lift & Lowers are a variation of the Clam exercise, knees are in line with hip bones and ankles in line with knees. Squeeze your sit bones together to lift the top leg up as a whole, hold for a count of two then lower but not quiet rest the top leg back onto the lower leg. The hold and the gap increases the time under tension your muscles are working 💪

When adding the extension or Leg stretch to the top
of the 90 / 90 exercise, make sure your hips stay stacked and the top one does not roll back!

The Leg Pull exercise brings in some Upper Body and Core strengthening to the sequence 😀

I would recommend a minute warm up of Squats and a Figure 4 Stretch each side to finish.
