SUNDAY SHOUT OUT 🖤 — TASH
Not every transformation is a weight loss journey. There are so many aspects to personal training, and this transformation has a very special place in my heart! 🥹🖤
In November of last year, Tash suffered an Acute Crisis after suddenly losing total feeling in both of her legs. She was hospitalised and gradually after some time, the feeling in her legs started to return, but she was left with ongoing neurological symptoms causing nerve pain in her left side that greatly affected her mobility and movement. There were often days where all she could manage was slowly walking a few steps before she was wiped out and experiencing a flare up of her pain. In January…
Tash walked into DUFFIT HQ.
It was clear how much pain she was in. Her mobility was completely different to the Tash I’d known previously.
Tash had been used to being strong, fit and able, so we stripped everything right back to basics. Super light, super steady and we started to rebuild.
First movement. Then mobility. Then gradually… strength. 💪
Every session was adapted to what her body could manage. There were flare-ups where we’d strip things back and adjust again, but Tash was patient and determined. We listened to her body and made training work FOR her, not against her.
Fast forward 8 months and WOW. 🥹
Tash has just returned from a much-needed family holiday, completing activities that even four months ago might not have felt possible.
I am SO bloody proud of the work she’s put in. She’s done the boring stuff that built the foundations and the hard stuff when it got tough.
She’s now back attending gym sessions, riding her bike and continuing to build strength.
Next stop… RUNNING. 🏃♀️
We’re going to start building towards that first run, and I plan on being right there with her for every step. 🖤
Tash, being part of your journey has been an utter joy and a real reflection of why I f**king love my job.
Transformations aren’t always measured by scales, inches or before-and-after photos.
Sometimes they’re measured in movement regained, strength rebuilt, confidence returning and getting pieces of your life back.
What a bloody comeback. 👏🔥
