IOAN JONES GOLF DAY APRIL 6th 2024
The tee times are going very quickly. Thank you so much to those that have booked so far. If you’ve not booked a tee time yet then you’ll need to be quick to get a decent time. Details are reproduced below.
There will be a special event at the Prize Giving. Once seen never forgotten. It involves a Vice Captain elect and a pair of scissors!!

On Saturday 6th April 2024 here, at Clwb Golff Abersoch we are organising a golf day to support our Assistant PGA Professional Ioan Jones with his quest to become a European Tour golf professional.
Ioan will be playing on the Mizuno Clutch Tour consisting of twenty-five events played throughout the whole of the UK, beginning in April through to September. Ioan has also played on the Portuguese Pro Tour this January and will play in the Qualifying rounds for the Asian Tour during the autumn. In addition, he plans to compete in the qualifying events for The Open in July and in the European Tour School Qualifying rounds in October.
We are asking for your support and hope you will consider participating in this event that is hoped will provide a substantial financial package towards Ioan’s tournament participation this year. The generous help provided by members, sponsors and players in 2023 was much appreciated and without which, full participation on the tours would have been very difficult.

GOLF EVENT
• An 18-hole Am-Am tournament for teams of four people. Gents, Ladies or Mixed
• Pro Challenge on hole 18
• New for 2024 – a yellow ball competition
• Bacon rolls and coffee on arrival
• Evening Dinner.
• Prize Presentation.
• Auction.
• A free draw for all participants to win one of six, 30 minute coaching lessons from Ioan.
COST
• The cost of the Golf Event package – golf and dinner with wine and prizes will be £250 per team.
• The cost of a tee/hole sponsor is £150 and you can have a mini competition at that hole if you wish.
• You can opt for the sponsorship/team package at £325 which gives you a fourball and a hole sponsorship for the day
• Your sponsorship will be acknowledged to all participants on the day with signs on the relevant tee area, acknowledgements in the presentation and the event programme, the distribution of supporting marketing materials for your business can also be accommodated.

In March 2024, we will contact those who have sent in an entry requesting the team’s name and individual team members’ names along with the final payment, and you will receive details of the final arrangements, including tee times.
Ioan promotes Clwb Golff Abersoch at every event he attends. We very much hope that you will, in turn, support him and participate in an event that we know from experience, will prove to be both extremely successful and very enjoyable.
