An incredible achievement from our bowlers yesterday, successfully retaining the Yorkshire Cup. This is the fourth year in a row that Pudsey BC have won the prestigious competition, a record that has only been achieved once before in the 133 year history of the event.
Thanks to Elland WMC for hosting, and commiserations to our friends from Crossgates BC who contested a great final. 💚 🏆 🏆 🏆 🏆 💚

Today sees the 32 finalists from around the UK descend on Pudsey BC for the Grand Final of The 2026 Pudsey Classic.

This is the 21st running of this competition and after 8 qualifying sessions that started back in June we are down to the Last 32.

They will battle it out to win the title, £1000 and join an illustrious list of winners who have won The Pudsey Classic previously.

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the peaceful passing of our beloved Past President and longest-serving member, Brian Russell.

​Brian was the heart and soul of our club for over 50 years. Having overseen some of the most memorable moments in our history, he was an avid supporter of every team—always on the sidelines cheering everyone on. His presence, wisdom, and unwavering dedication will be sorely missed.

​On behalf of everyone at the club, we send our deepest condolences, thoughts, and love to Sharon, Rebecca, Sophie, and the rest of the Russell family during this difficult time.

​Rest in peace, Brian. Thank you for everything.💚
