Our Dance Academy, located in Prudhoe, Northumberland, offers classes in Commercial, Contemporary, Ballet, Lyrical, Street, Jazz, AcroDance, CheerDance, and Tumbling. All classes are taught by fully trained and qualified dance teachers. The classes are designed to be fun and recreational, with opportunities to join our Competition Squad, workshops, and performances throughout the year. Qualificati

What an August for our Lydia 🫶
I honestly can’t shout loud enough about how proud I am of this little warrior. Lydia works so hard for everything she achieves, and even though we don’t get massive amounts of time in the studio, she makes every second count. That effort, determination and love for what she does is really shining through ❤️‍🔥
Seeing her gain recognition at these big summer comps down in Middlesbrough has been amazing. Holding her own against huge sections, placing in the top 3 each time and reaching semi-finals in champs is something to be so proud of — but what means even more is seeing her confidence grow, watching her enjoy every moment, and knowing how much support is behind her.
From the first day Lydia walked into the studio to now, her transformation has been incredible. She may be representing our tiny school on big stages, but she is never doing it alone. Every cheer, every message, every bit of encouragement from this community helps lift her higher, and that support means the world. Keep flying high & I’ve got your back always, girl 🫶

Not rehearsed ✅ just about made it on stage ✅ dancers speeding up so being a good team player & keeping up 🤣✅ Pure fun ❤️‍🔥✅ the love ❤️‍🔥✅ 💯 special awareness 10% 🤣 I felt boxed in like a sardine in a can 🤣 but did we have the best time absolutely and is that what it’s all about..1000% not my usual rodeo but dancing with them one last time at their last show with us was just lush!

That’s another one done & dusted in a flash! Honestly there is never a dull moment, from start to finish we’re always busy, never missing a chance to dance, tumble, singalong, craft, glitz & glam while building those incredible friendships and summer club memories together. Me & Miss Amelie have loved our under 9yrs July clubs and can’t wait for our August ones with Miss Adele! 👏💎🌟🫶

The past couple of weekends have been a whirlwind. You would not think it could feel so busy with only a handful of soloists and group dancers competing, but it really did. Our group routines were challenging, especially with last-minute changes, but the girls were absolutely amazing. They stayed focused, handled every adjustment professionally, and did not let the pressure faze them. We had to make space changes the day before because we were dancers down, and then, on the day of the competition, Amelia suffered a painful knee injury that meant she could no longer take part in the group routines. It was completely unavoidable, but Amelia was such a trooper and still came along to support her team in her knee brace. We are so pleased she is okay. It may be a slow recovery, but we hope she is back doing what she loves very soon. I am so proud of all our groups and soloists. Last weekend was long, hot, and exhausting, with Sunday starting from 8am to 8pm, but I would do it all again to see these girls on stage doing what they love. They grow stronger every time they perform. The long days can be hard, but being there to run routines, do makeup, play music, encourage, support, and congratulate them for getting on stage means so much. It was an added bonus that everyone came away with a medal or trophy, which made the weekend feel even more worthwhile. Well done, girls.
