Great Park Blues 3 - 2 PYCFC Milan
It wasn't to be our day today unfortunately.
The lads battled hard against a newly formed Great Park team, with the home team taking the lead through a soft penalty shout.
The lads kept their heads up, and plugged away, with a penalty shout in our favour, which was a clear one. Alfie Coyle stepped up to put it in the back of the net.
The game itself was predominantly in the middle of the park, with both teams taking equal chances. The home team again, took the lead with a pretty decent lob.
At no point did we give up, and kept at it. Eventually equalising with a well fought goal from Max M.
The team worked against many decisions against them, which was more pressure, but they kept their composure.
Unfortunately Great Park took the lead again later into the game. The lads again kept going, never once showed defeat was an option. In the dying moments of the game we had many shouts of a free kick, but it wasn't too be.
The lads did well, and showed the home team a good battle.
Rory picked his second Player of the match award this season along with Will for their unlimited energy to create options and get the ball down the pitch.
Next game sees us travelling towards the borders in Longhorsely on the 26th September.
