Clare & Ben are with us for the next 3 days on a Trad Development Course.
Today the team soaked up all the heat and sun at a very hot Sheepstor! 🥵

Day covering multiple ways of building belays with rope and slings and ticking off some lead climbs! 🤙

Next 5 Day Trad Development Course is on 27th July.

Yesterday morning Mike was Caving with Nick & Jonah at Pridhamsleigh Cavern.
Team had a great trip with plenty of mud and squeezes!

Our next public caving sessions are during School Summer Holidays with Bespoke Sessions like today’s trip arrange on dates to suit.

Tracy & Gary were back with us again today this time down at a damp and windy Bosigran.
Both did a great job swinging leads on Alison’s Rib before practicing some belay building.

Today Chris was out with Charlie & Rachel on Day 1 of a Silver Award Course.
After a morning going over some theory work they headed out on a very wet and windy Dartmoor.

Today we were joined by some of the staff from for a bit of a team building challenge day.

The aim of the day was to be the first team to reach Haytor Visitors Centre.
First was a bit of rock climbing with both teams being individually timed on their ascent which gave a team total time.
From that the teams set off in order of their time difference around a series of checkpoints using map & compass.
At each checkpoint they were asked observation questions by our instructors which if they got wrong incurred a tine penalty.
Penultimate checkpoint was the summit of Haytor!

Great effort by all and thanks our team members waiting out on checkpoints today! 🤙

Yesterday Giles was out with Steven & Michael on the final day of their 2 Day Sport Learn To Lead Course down at Portland.

Yesterday morning we was joined by the MacNamara family for their own Bespoke Family Rock Climbing Session.
4 different routes climbed multiple times by the girls before a quick blast Weaselling and some Bouldering.

In the afternoon we had our Public Rock Adventure Session with 10 keen Adventurers who climbed & weaselled in some Dartmoor sunshine.
