Always telling my clients to listen to their bodies. Needed to listen to my own for a few weeks.

Energy levels have been super low recently. So I’ve been making some changes to my diet and sleep to try and restore me back to health.

Slowly starting to feel better but self practice went out the window. For the first time in 3 weeks I wanted to get on the reformer. Thankfully half term helps 😉

Only 30 minutes but you’ve got to start somewhere right?

Just me, my reformer and a lot of trial & error 😅

Some ideas make it…
Some definitely do not 😂

But when it all clicks that’s when you know you’ve nailed it. Anyone else class planning using pen and paper 📝?

This one’s coming soon 👀”

These are some of the reasons why you should be doing Pilates not the reason why you shouldn’t!

My classes are for real people who don’t need a flashy boutique studio but do need to move their bodies in a way that makes them feel included, safe and strong.

If you’ve always wondered what Pilates is all about now is your chance.

My new Beginners Pilates class starts on the 25th February:

⏰ 7-8pm
🏠 Monks Risborough C of E Primary School
Only 5 spots left!

So I was chatting to a friend today who was saying she just feels like hibernating in January and that got me thinking. If you don’t fancy getting in the gym with every other Tom, Dick and Harriet what can you do from the comfort of your home?
Well here’s your answer!
5 moves to get those core and glute muscles firing:
1. Leg Circles (remember to do equal reps in each direction and if it’s too much being propped come down and lie on your side)
2. Leg Press (tip here is to keep your top leg level with your hip as the knee bends and straightens)
3. Propped Clam (keep top hip still as knee lifts)
4. Squat with Kick (don’t forget knees over toes as you squat)
5. Hip opener (knee and ankle need to stay in line as they move)*
*children optional added extra 😂

I’m using an extra heavy loop band but start with a lighter band if needs be then progress.

Save for a rainy day and let me know how you get on!

Did you know that November is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month? 💙

As a Pilates instructor, I see firsthand how movement, community, and conversation can make a difference. Pilates isn’t just about strength and flexibility—it’s about creating space to breathe, connect, and care for yourself.

And yet 14 men in the UK die by su***de every single day. But men are far less likely to reach out for support when they’re struggling.

This month, let’s break the silence. Check in on the men in your life. Encourage open conversations. And remember: looking after your mental health is just as important as looking after your body. 💪🧘‍♂️💙

But don't just take my word for it see what my male clients had to say about how Pilates makes them feel 🔽🔽🔽
