Album of photos from our visit to Ariccia in May 2016.

Highlight on this trip were a visit to the gardens of Villa d'Este in Tivoli, to Anzio, the site of one of the D-day landings, dinner at Il Borgo in Genzano, a guided walk around Bella Roma and a visit to the stunning lake side village of Nemi.

I realised that whilst we may have posted photos from visits to and from our friends in Ariccia and Lichtenfels, the photos are not in albums, so I am going to create albums for all visits, going back to 2015, when our German friends came over to Ayrshire.

This visit was a celebration of 40 years of the twinning between Lichtenfels and Prestwick.

A FABULOUS NIGHT
A FULL HOUSE
The Prestwick Town Twinning Association organised a successful Bingo and Disco Fundraiser at Prestwick Bowling Club. This fundraiser evening was to raise funds for the 50th Anniversary visit from Lichtenfels Germany and the visit by Vandalia Ohio USA. Prestwick Town Twinning Association are to host this visit and will entertain and show the 30 visitors the hospitality and the history of Prestwick and Bonnie Ayrshire.
