💙 A HUGE THANK YOU! 💙

We would like to say a massive thank you to Liam, Kirsty and the entire team at eeVo Training for organising the fantastic HPX event at Riverside Sports Arena last weekend.

It was a wonderful event that raised an incredible £13,000 for Harbour Ayrshire in memory of our much-loved former trustee, John Gilardi.

John’s passion for helping others continues to inspire us, and this generous contribution will help Harbour provide vital support to people and families affected by addiction across Ayrshire.

Thank you to everyone who organised, participated, donated and helped make the event such a tremendous success. John would have been incredibly proud. 🫶💙

Our members have been asking for this one for a long time, so we’re finally bringing eeVo BoxFit to the timetable!

This isn’t about learning to fight. No sparring, no contact and absolutely no boxing experience needed.

Just boxing-inspired fitness - jabs, crosses, hooks, uppercuts, pad work and combinations, mixed with high-intensity conditioning to get the heart rate up, burn calories and get a serious sweat on. 💦🔥

🥉 EUROPEAN BRONZE FOR COACH KIRSTIN 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺

What a weekend.

Not only there supporting, coaching and looking after our young athletes, but stepping onto the competition floor herself. After a rocky start on the run, Kirstin kept fighting her way back up the leaderboard, going into the final day in 7th place before climbing all the way onto the European podium.

Leading by example in every sense.

Coach. Athlete. European bronze medallist. 🥉

An incredible achievement and one we’re all extremely proud of.

🥉 EUROPEAN BRONZE FOR BRODIE MCKENZIE 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺

What a weekend from Brodie at the iF3 European Championships, finishing 3rd in Europe and tied for 2nd place on points.

And for the second year running, Brodie leaves the European Championships with a bronze medal around her neck after also finishing 3rd last year.

But forget points, placings and decisions for a minute.

What matters most to us is how Brodie competed.

She kept pushing. She dealt with everything that was put in front of her. She represented Scotland, her family, her coaches and herself with absolute class.

And that’s Brodie.

She works. She listens. She keeps turning up. She keeps pushing herself forward. And whether things go her way or not, she gets on with it.

Back-to-back European bronze medallist. Joint 2nd on points. And still so much more to come.

An inspiration to the younger athletes coming through behind her and an absolute credit to herself.

Absolute perseverance.

🇪🇺12 ATHLETES. ONE GYM. REPRESENTING SCOTLAND. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This weekend, 12 eeVo athletes will compete at the Intl Functional Fitness Fed European Functional Fitness Championships - 11 of our eeVo NextGen athletes and one of their coaches.

With only 18 Scottish athletes competing across the entire Championships, we’re incredibly proud to have 12 of them coming from eeVo.

Most of these young athletes were first introduced to the sport through our gym, some when they were as young as 9 years old and we’ve watched them develop and put in the work over the years.

To now see them pulling on the Scotland colours and competing for their country on an international stage, in such numbers, is just phenomenal.

Their togetherness and support for each other is why they are thriving.

We couldn’t be prouder. Bring on the weekend!

Another brilliant session with over 50 people getting their final preparations underway.

This week, athletes were tackling 800 m intervals, with our No Regrets athletes completing 400 m intervals, building confidence and fitness for race day.

Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue progressing the sessions, giving everyone the opportunity to improve their running before HPX, whether you’ve been every week or are just joining us.

One of the biggest benefits? Every session takes place on the exact same track you’ll be racing on at HPX in the Riverside Sports Arena. There’s no better place to prepare.
