A great batting partnership between our Captain Holly Druce (52) and Vice Captain Deborah Otterson (67) today. Fantastic effort both of you!💪🏏

This followed by some superb bowling from Amelia Mapson - 4 wickets in 3 overs, only conceding 5 runs - and Millie Chaudhary - 3 wickets in 5 overs, 1 maiden and only conceding 8 runs. A superb display from both of you 💪👏

Some great bowling, fielding and good spirit from everyone. Well done team 🤩❤️

Three of our players today representing in the 2nd eleven against Uddingston. Well done to Holly, Millie and Freya who showed off some excellent fielding and solid bowling performances, with Millie taking her first 2nd XI wicket. Great work girls 💪🤩

The Prestwick girls face a gutting exit out of the Scottish Cup this afternoon, after a hard day all round!
Special mention goes to our Hadassah who showed real T20 opener promise with the bat today! A stylish and brave 35 off only 25 balls- great stuff 🔥

Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be for the Prestwick girls at Carlton today. Despite, Deborah and Holly putting up a good and sturdy fight with the bat we fell just short in the run chase.

Girls only Dynamos Sessions coming up!! Delivered by our women’s XI captain and vice captain! 💥⭐️🏏

⭐️Girls only Dynamos coming to Prestwick CC⭐️

Beginning the 10th June we will be holding girls only dynamos sessions every Wednesday from 5.30pm!

These soft ball sessions will be relaxed and beginner friendly perfect for young girls who want to get into the sport, try something new, or just have plenty of energy to burn! 🏃‍♀️🏏

They will be coached by female coaches- Holly Druce and Deborah Otterson both level 2 qualified and experienced coaches!

Andddd it’s three off three for the Prestwick girls 🔥💥
Deborah Otterson with a fantastic 78 not out along with Amy’s complimentary 48 led us to a total of 180 with no wickets lost!
The two spinners Millie and Deborah dominated the second innings with 2 wickets each. 🏏✅

Prestwick had the pleasure of being involved in the ICC T20 World Cup Trophy Tour on Thursday and it was great to see so many people turn out for it and enjoy some games with Scotland players Megan McColl, Abtaha Maqsood and Gabriella Fontenia.
