Our 2009s are into the next round of the inspiresport Scottish Cup following their victory today away to Gartcairn.

Match day 3

Caley 09 2-1 Valspar 08

A hard fought win tonight against a good Valspar side. After going behind the boys battled well and started to get our game going. We got it back to 1-1 not long after when Max pounced onto a ball and got there before their goalie who had a great game. After half time we were on the front foot creating a few chances. After a missed penalty ( saved by the Valspar goalie) we kept pushing and got the winner when Josh drove into the box finishing it into the bottom corner. Good performance from the boys but now on to a tough game against Troon fc 08’s on Sunday at Caley park.
Thanks to Valspar for the game and the best of luck for the rest of the season.

Wasn’t the performance or result we hoped for Tonight against a tough whitletts 08 team but we will take a lot from it going forward. Goal form Josh⚽️

Great start to the season this afternoon from the boys against a top team in Ayr Boswell.
Goals from Freddie x 2, Craig and Evan got us the 3 points in the new dual age league. On to Wednesday away to Whitletts 08’s.

A great effort from the boys today at the Mill united football tournament. The weather wasn’t great but didn’t effect the boys who played some great football throughout topping our group and reaching the cup final. We ran out of steam though and ended up losing 1-0 to a strong Renfrew vics team but getting to back to back finals in the 2 tournaments is a great achievement for the lads🟡⚫️🟡⚽️
