I love what I do. Helping people grow inn the context of their business.

Maggie & I had an awesome meeting with our business coach yesterday.

I was talking about enhancing the holistics side of the business, but as usual I was having a wobble & allowing the negative voices to talk. Instead, we reframed things & as I result, I’m here to tell you that I AM 🤬 DOING IT! I am Helen, otherwise known as I am a Mystic, a Healer & a Wise Woman. It’s who I am & it’s what I do. So, get ready for more holistic and spiritual offerings coming your way soon including Shamanic Healing and 1:1 Spiritual Mentoring from your very own Prestwich Village Witch.

Hello all. Update on me.

I know I’ve not really posted for a while but life’s thrown a bit of a challenge at me.

Had an op. Went a little wrong in recovery so ended up with another op.

It’s taken me 7 weeks to get back to feeling somewhat normal that I can have and satisfy cravings such as cheese on toast.

The fight has taken its toll and been reallly hard on me and the family but the love and support we have received from everyone we know has been immense. We have not had to walk alone. I personally have found the love and support overwhelming but immensely powerful in aiding my recovery. I love you all.

Today I have a scan and hopefully get to remove my last two appendages , two drains. We can then talk about a plant to be ready for home.

When home life should be less restrictive and it will be great to finally be able to accept more invites to visit. Hospital visiting at the moment is very restrictive. But as a maverick I’ve always found a way of bending and stretching the rules.

I am very lucky that I can now focus solely on getting back to full health. Which means I have but my business and other business ventures and initiatives to one side. For now. I will be very active as soon as I am able.

I am looking forward to taking a stroll or two in Prestwich and catching up with so many people.

A great day planning the future of this wonderful organisation.

Really pleased to be part of a great team and to have been asked to lead this strategy planning workshop.

Recently, our Board gathered for a transformative meeting to look at plans for the future of Stockport Credit Union. Our heads got together and we mapped out how we can help even more residents of Stockport throughout 2022!

Meeting more great local business owners.

Firstly let’s all applaud the lovely Abigail for working as an NHS midwife. We wouldn’t be here without her. Literally.

When I sat down for a chat with Abigail it was clear to see her compassion and enthusiasm for helping families throughout their pregnancy birth and early postpartum stages.

Not only as a practicing midwife with over 10 years experience, but also now as the proud owner of . Abigail has lived in prestwich for over 6 years with her husband & 3 children.

Abigail told us that for her it was important to, “ support parents to prepare for birth & beyond, to also understand all of the choices they have, so they are fully informed, confident and as relaxed as possible through pregnancy birth and beyond”

Knowing the wonderful service that midwives provides, she knows that some parents require a little more support, more information and sometimes just a chat with her. Abigail’s passion is to empower women to have the birth they desire, and feel in control of decision making. Her business Maternal Matters a maternal focused studio at the rear of her house is set up to do just that.

Through a series of 121 and group sessions Abigail wanted to ensure parents can make informed decisions and receive all of the support they need. Running these sessions and collaborating with other great businesses in her studio in Prestwich she focusses on maternal wellbeing, ante natal care, breast feeding groups, maternal yoga and so much more. Including recently receiving approval too.

When we asked Abigail what it takes to make a village she said “CONFIDENCE”.

And that is what she wants to help her clients with. Confident in their understanding, choices and of course confidence through the big day(s) ahead.

We’re Helen and Maggie and together we are Spark Life! A small, personal and friendly studio offering personal training, yoga, pilates and Reiki opposite Heaton Park.
It’s our belief that fitness should be about feeling amazing so we take a non-diet approach in everything we do. When you go hand in hand with Spark Life we do things differently, we’ll take you on a journey of health gain as opposed to weight loss.

That doesn’t mean we won’t challenge you… we all love a challenge! But it does mean from kettlebells to yoga to skipping, we’ll always work at a personal level with you building your confidence whilst building your strength and fitness leaving you happy for the rest of the day.

We’re currently open for 1-2-1 personal training with Maggie or you can join her for free in St Mary’s Flower Park, Saturdays at 11am where our family Skipping club takes place.

You can currently enjoy 1-2-1 yoga in the studio and Reiki treatments with our Reiki Master Helen in our dedicated therapy room. We are looking forwards to throwing our doors open for you to get some exercise in a group when Boris allows us on May 17th and are offering a discount on our Yoga membership for anyone who signs up in advance.
