Sad times, Bury Futsal Shuts Its Doors 😢

Morning all,

I hope this message finds you well.

After a great deal of consideration over the past few months, We have made the difficult decision not to continue running the futsal sessions. Due to recent changes in our work and personal commitments for both myself and Rob we simply won't be able to give the sessions the time and energy it rightly deserves, and felt it was only fair to make this call now, before the season gets underway.

I want to start by thanking you all from the bottom of my heart for your incredible support and friendships over the years. Your trust and commitment has meant the world to us as coaches. However, our biggest thank you goes to the kids. It has been a joy and a privilege to watch them grow, not just as futsal players, but as individuals.

We will miss working with them, but are excited to see where their talent takes them. Wishing every single one of them the very best in their football and futsal adventures

Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of their futsal journey.

Congratulations to our talented former Bury Futsal player Ben Betts.
At just 16 years old he has been selected to attend the England U19 Futsal Talent Identification Day, which is a fantastic recognition of the hard work, commitment, and progress Ben has shown.

Whatever the outcome, we are incredibly proud of you.

Take with you the lessons learned, the relationships built, the standards you've been exposed to, and the confidence that comes from testing yourself against some of the best futsal players in England. These are valuable achievements regardless of the result.

Everyone at the club is proud of you and wishes you every success on the next stage of your journey.

Really proud of the lads today.
They did brilliantly to get to the final against some very good futsal teams, only loosing to a very good Rochdale Futsal Club
Putting into practice everything they have been working on over the past 12+ months, cumulating in getting to the final of an end of year Xmas futsal festival.
When Uyi Abraham Uhunmwagho started this age group with Rob, they had 3 players, and two of them were our children.
Now we have 13 children who are all developing in futsal, and also a pleasure to coach. When they come to train, they know they are here to play futsal.
Everyone at Bury Futsal wishes players and parents a merry Christmas and happy new year.
