Bad news I'm afraid - we've just heard from the caretakers who tell us they've arrived at the school tonight and the hall isn't available. We're really sorry for any inconvenience, but we're not going to be able to play tonight. Everything should be back to normal next Wednesday.

Now the football is out of the way we can get back to business with badminton! Club night is back on tomorrow night (22nd) from 7:30-10:00pm at The Heys School (M25 1JZ). Guest fees are just £8. We're also running our Badminton New Blood scheme, so if you'd like to get back into the sport (or indeed pick it up for the first time), this is the ideal opportunity to get invovled. Places are limited so please just drop us a message first to let us know you'll be there. A huge thanks goes to Bury Council/The Parklife Community Fund for helping us offer this great way into the sport.

Happy Tuesday everyone!
So it appears there's something happening with footballs tomorrow night, and unbelievably, people seem to prefer these to shuttles! It is with great sadness that we're going to have to cancel this week's club night (15th July) but we'll be back as usual next week, the 22nd, at 7:30pm, by which time football will apparently have come home. See you next week!

So we have some good news, and some great news! The good news is that, as expected, club night is back on again this week, meaning great social badminton across 4 courts from 7:30-10:00pm at The Heys School (M25 1JZ). The great news is that we'll also be running beginner sessions over the summer months, starting next Wednesday (8th July). A big thank you goes out to Bury Council/Parklife Concerts Fund for helping us facilitate this. Numbers are limited so please contact us first if you're interested.

Unfortunately it's that time of year, the dreaded exams. Thoughts go out to all those stressed students but sadly it also means we don't have the hall for badminton. We've been told it will be available again on Wednesday 1st July, but we'll keep everyone updated via this page. Enjoy the rest, we're looking forward to seeing everyone revitalised in a few weeks!

It's Badminton Wednesday!!!
As usual, we'll be playing from 7:30-10:00pm at They Hey School (M25 1JZ). There's only one match tonight which means 2 courts for some great social play. Guest fees are just £8 and feather shuttles are provided. See you later!

Evening all. Just a quick note to remind everyone we're back to business as usual tomorrow (Wedensday) with club night running from 7:30-10:00pm at The Heys School (M25 1JZ). There are no matches this week which means all 4 courts for social. Guests welcome - it's just £8 for the night.
Also, for anyone wanting to get back into the sport, we're up and running with our Back To Badminton campaign - if you've played before and fancy giving it another go, please just drop us a line. We now also have loan equipment should you need it - a big thank you goes out to Bury Council/Heaton Park Concerts Community Fund for all their help to facilitate this.

Just a quick note to say that sadly there's no badminton this week as the school needs the hall for exams. It'll be business as usual next Wednesday (18th).
We're also looking to help people who used to play at an intermediate standard get back into the game. Thanks to Bury Council/Heaton Park Concerts Community Fund we now have loan equipment so if you used to play and want a gentle introduction back into the sport, please just drop us a line!
