For how long who knows but whilst we have the warmer weather please feel free to wear a white T-shirt or a GKR t shirt to your classes.

Make sure you stay hydrated and bring a water bottle along to class too

EXCITING NEWS 📰 🥋

New karate classes incoming 💥

We are excited to announce we are launching our Yogi program in Preston. We have two brand new classes catering for 3-5 year olds.

They will get to experience the fun of karate in a safe and comfortable environment which will help them build confidence, improve coordination and balance all whilst learning a new skill!

Starting next week the 22nd of June

Tournament June 2026 💥🥊

Wow, what a an exceptional display of talent shown at Sundays Tournament!

Congratulations to everyone from Preston who took part and showed off their skills in kata and Kumite.

Whether it was your first time in the ring or your 100th, it takes a lot of bravery and courage to step up and give it a go. A huge achievement!

Next stop Telford for the World Cup! 🏆🌍

Reminder that this Saturdays Bamber Bridge class will be closed due the self defence seminar.

The seminar is open to every student and their family members, come down to support our partner charity refuge and learn some new skills 💜

💜🥋SELF DEFENCE SEMINAR IN SUPPORT OF REFUGE 🥋💜

GKR Karate UK will be running special seminars in May to support REFUGE - a charity who supports and help survivors of domestic and family abuse!

GKR Regions 2 & 3 will be holding a seminar in Crumpsall on Saturday the 31st of May.

This event is open to EVERYONE! GKR Student or not! Bring your friends and family to support a great cause, and learn some life skills!
