This coming week is my final week teaching yoga, before I step into a new chapter of my life.
I am absolutely overwhelmed by the amount of messages I’ve received following my little voice note to many of you yesterday. I truly wasn’t prepared for the depth of feeling, love and reflection that has come back to me.
When I started teaching yoga, I never wanted it to be about the big things.
It was always about the little things:
making people feel welcome,
seen,
heard,
enough.
It was about creating a space where people could arrive exactly as they are, and still feel they belonged. Somewhere that felt safe. Somewhere that felt kind. Somewhere that felt like community.
As a yoga teacher, you don’t have colleagues in the traditional sense. There’s no office, no team around a desk… but what you do get is something so much deeper.
You get real connection. Shared stories. Shared courage.
In the true spirit of yoga, of lifting others up and paying it forward. I now share my three beautiful classes and pass the baton on to Moira of New Feelings Yoga and Wellbeing and Louise Ball. I pass these classes on and do so with complete trust that they will be held with the same care, heart and intention that has always lived in those rooms.
These classes will continue to grow, evolve and flourish in new ways.
Because in the end, it was never about me.
It was always about us.

Thank you for letting me be your person for a while 💛
