Our 1869 Bar is open six days a week to the public offering a wide selection of beverages. Preston Grasshoppers is a rugby and sports club situated in modern premises affording ideal and flexible conference and function facilities situated just minutes from the M6 and with ample free parking. The 1st XV play in the North Premier division.

🏉 THE SEASON STARTS HERE! 🏉

It’s finally time to get the new National 2 North season underway!

This Saturday, our Men’s 1st XV welcome Heath RUFC to Lightfoot Green for the opening game of the season.

Heath are new to National 2 North this season, so there’s plenty to look forward to as two sides meet for the first time at this level.

As Heath put it:

💬 “Many of the clubs featured are opponents we have never previously faced at senior level, highlighting the scale of the challenge and the progress the club has made in recent years.”

Now it’s time for the Hoppers to make their mark! 💪

Highlights from our friendly on Friday night vs Rossendale Rugby Club. Many thanks to the Rossendale team for coming over to us on a busy Friday night probably in bustling Bank Holiday traffic!

It was a cracking game with Zephyr Maher diving over the touchline . . . well let's say . . . more than once!!

The real season starts on Saturday. Our firsts are playing at home against new-to-the-league this season Heath RUFC KO 2.30pm.

And the Hoppers men's seconds team are kicking off at home 12noon vs Newport Salop on Pitch 2 with our men's 3rds team at home as well KO 2pm vs Garstang afterwards on pitch 2.

It's a full day of rugby - the Lancashire women's team will be training on the AGP in the morning so do come along and take a look.

Bars open at 11.30am - come on down for a great day of rugby!
