🥳 Over 50 birthdays/christenings/baby showers/corporate events

🫶 Thank you for all your support this summer, we move to winter opening hours from next Saturday but we'll still be here, bar open, footy on the tv, hosting all your functions and maybe the odd karaoke night 😉

We're off for a rest.....well, until Friday anyway!

🕓 The final weekend of our summer opening hours

But............

🫶 We're going to go out in style and, judging by all the messages, it's going to be a busy one so get down early to get comfy!

🎤 How many Sinatra classics will Dom be able to muster up?
🤣 Will Dawn & B finally accept that they are 𝑵𝑶𝑻 Elton & KiKi?
🎤 Will it be 'Stop 𝑪𝑹𝒀𝑰𝑵𝑮 your heart out' or '𝑪𝑯𝑨𝑴𝑷𝑨𝑮𝑵𝑬 Supernova' for Dunny?
📰 And most importantly, what content is Armi going to use for his end of season report?

📣 All will be revealed tomorrow.......you know you want to come and join us!

🏏 As the penultimate weekend of the Vernon-Carus Cricket Club season comes to a close....we're looking forward to next weekend!

🎶 Over this summer we seem to have become a self proclaimed karaoke bar so we're going to see the cricketers off in to their winter hibernation with a full night of food, drinks & music 🎤

🥳 All are welcome, come and join us to see the cricket season out!

🏆 Tomorrow we begin to celebrate 6️⃣0️⃣ years of Vernon-Carus Cricket Club with the Mayors cup

Yes, we've seen the forecast but if you know anything about VC, you'll know that won't stop us partying!

🏏 The ladies kick off the action at 11:30am against Hesketh Bank with the Cup game starting at 2pm versus Penwortham Cricket Club

🍻 The bar will be open from 12pm
🌭 BBQ from 1pm
📺 We'll have all the Premier League action on all screens throughout the day
🎶 To take us through in to party mode, we have live music from 5:30pm courtesy of George Geirnaert and

Last bank holiday of the summer....let's see it out in style!

Only a week to go until the mayor's cup but for now, Super Sunday is back!

🏏 We have Vernon-Carus Cricket Club Sunday XI in action from 1pm
📺 Brighton v Villa 2pm
📺 City v Bournemouth 2pm
📺 Newcastle v Liverpool 4:30pm
🍻 Bar open from 12pm

👀 We're also well in to planning for 2027 so keep your eyes peeled today for some fantastic events being announced

🫶 It really was one people, one community, one love....what a day!

Des, Graham DjToro & Quickdraw brought the party vibes all day long
Our food vendors provided some of the best food around
The ACE Programme Charity brought an amazing group of cricketers....they loved the VC party!
Spectrum Association brought the carnival feel and smashed it
Vernon-Carus Cricket Club, fantastic opposition, umpires & scoring as always!
And finally, our amazing dream team of staff....nailed it, as always ❤️

🏏 Tomorrow we host the inauguaral T20 between Windrush Initiatives CIC XI v Vernon-Carus Cricket Club XI
🎶 We've got Des Grant, Graham DjToro Torres & Andrew Quickdraw providing a sound track all day long!
🍗 We've got food vendors for you to fill your boots with
🍻 The bar will be open all day
💃 Spectrum Association Will be bringing their carnival vibe to VC!

🚗 Parking is available in the areas marked below, marshall's will be on hand to direct you. Please respect our neighbours and do not park on Factory Lane. If you can walk please do so or give our friends at South Ribble Taxis - Village Taxis - Tardy Gate Taxis a call!

✖️ Please do not bring your own alcohol, all alcohol must be purchased on site.....there's plenty of it!

Our Vernon-Carus Cricket Club 2nd XI take on Fylde whilst it's derby day for our 4th XI as they take on Penwortham Cricket Club
