We've all heard it - respect is earned but here's the truth: Respect is practised daily and by choice. In her new thought provoking video Heather Wright, FPSA discusses how we need to choose to behave, hold ourselves, hold space in a room, what to say.......but we also need to be listening to others, respecting their space, taking in their opinions even if we don't agree. We need to be practising respect of others, and behave in the way that others will respect us. It is not a reward. Respect needs to be practised, and it is a choice.
